NBA PLAYER LEAVES FIANCEE AT THE ALTER!

OMG! So I hear former New Jersey Nets dancer Kesha Ni’Cole Nichols was scheduled to wed her boyfriend and NBA player Richard Jefferson on Saturday, July 11. But it didnt go down because the star forward bailed on his fiancée. Buddy pulled the plug on their posh Manhattan wedding at the 11th hour, according to The New York Post.
According to Essence.com, the swanky affair was to take place at New York City’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel and reportedly cost $2 million. Jefferson was traded in June to the San Antonio Spurs and according to sources dumped Nichols just before the weekend. Despite the somber news Nichols still checked into the hotel on what was to have been her wedding day, and was upgraded to a suite on the 45th floor with a king-sized bed and a Central Park view, according to a source at the Mandarin.

at least he told her it was off before she got to the alter..i read that he gave her 6 figures to start a new life without him. I think he should have given her the 2mill but..
I hear that marriage is over rated….Is that true? I’m still not sure if I want to get married……Somebody pray for me.
Ken I am now divorced but let me tell you marriage is not at all over rated. It is a beautiful and sexy thing once you find that right person… I was married for 7 years and I loved it until it ended. And I would do it again in a minute (although I’ve turned down 2 proposal since then – wrong guys)… anywho – marriage is great when it’s with the right 2 people. You should try it out
But I will admit I said on my wedding day – why am I marrying this guy.. I wish one of us would have said no before we walked down the aisle. This Richard guy did the right thing in my opinion.
Ken and I can’t forget the lifestyles 2 successful people can have together..Custom homes, new cars, large bank accounts, travel..Not that we couldn’t do it alone but 2 incomes are much better than 1…I’m just sayn
He was trifling for that. He could at least told her wayyyy in advance. I’m pretty sure it was his money that went down the drain anyway. these athletes better watch out before it be another McNair situation. That’s what they get anyway when they think white women are better than us black women when they get a little money in their pockets, even though it does not say what she did to make him want to not marry her.
Cecece i agree with you on that one. I was married for 3 years didnt work. Saw that signs at the begining didnt want to see it. I agree marriage is a beauitful thing God said it was good as long as its with the right person. Two people have to want it. One person cant want the marriage and the other person dont. SO i think you should try it if it with the right person!!!!
& then dudes wonder why females do crazy ish. thts humiliating! & then to write her a 6 figure check like thats supposed to make it better…dude you dumped the woman through an email, a check don’t make up for that.
