In related news, Amber Rose (who has expressed her crush on the Yung Money star) and Minaj were spotted back stage at the first stop of Lil Wayne America’s Most Wanted tour.

One of the most interesting moments of Monday night’s launch for the Americas Most Wanted tour didn’t take place on the big stage, but rather backstage.

Moments before Young Jeezy was set to perform, two beautiful women emerged backstage, walking hand-in-hand, and made jaws drop.

“There goes Nicki Minaj” said one rapper. “And wait, is that Amber Rose with her? What are they doing?”

Indeed, it was Amber Rose, Kanye West’s on-again/ off-again girlfriend. But were she and Nicki holding hands just to stir up controversy, or … ?

I met Nicki (a fellow resident of Jamaica, Queens) a few months back when we covered her Beam Me Up Scotty mixtape. Apparently, she and Rose met on the set of Drake’s video for “Best I Ever Had,” which Kanye directed. Nicki has said in the past that she doesn’t limit herself to the opposite sex.
