I’ve always followed Alicia Keys as an artist, but as a woman I’ve lost alot of respect for her, doing something like this says alot about who you are, I’d never buy another album, I don’t support women like her, I know everyone makes mistakes but her mistake still continues and she chooses not to correct it, so everyone has to pay for their mistakes and her losing fans or support may be her punishment…resist temptation

Mashonda turned nothing into something. whether or not the message was a publicity stunt, those are personal issues that will affect everyone including her son, so if she claims she only wants the best for her son, this was not a way to handle it whether she could get in touch with alicia or not. Alicia, idk girl, you could have any guy, Swizz aint even cute.

whatever..I bet Mashonda thinks Swizz should have stayed with her–even if he’s unhappy? She would rather a man who has no feelings or love for her to stay because they have kids and because of her own feelings? What kind of lifestyle is that?? She needs to just do what’s best for her and her children and move on. There’s no point in being bitter at something that will not change. Plus AK didn’t address her on Twitter..Mashonda is just assuming that she is. So her writing this long ass essay about AK, is just her jumping to conclusions..basically picking a fight. “( I have no choice but to call him my husband, until he is not anymore)”.. that’s bullshit, too…I doubt Swizz still calls her “his wife”. It’s kinda sad that she thinks she and him have any chance of reconciling…keep hope alive, I guess

This is crazy! And I liked Alicia Keys too. I do not like home wreckers, so when a new song or record comes out, I’m gonna think twice about listening or buying anything of hers again. God does not lie, Alicia Keys and Swizz will reap what they sow. Yes, love is wonderful when you’ve finally found it, but love can only take you so far. Building a relationship takes time and you have to work on it everyday. Alicia and Swizz have already started off on a bad foundation, so who knows how long it will last. Once the smoke clears and reality sets in, they are going to have a long road ahead of them and they only have themselves to blame.

I feel sorry for Mashonda and her son, but if she continues taking the high road, in the end she will be just fine.

I feel that AK should not write the songs she write anymore if she does not follow them. I was a big fan of hers because I thought she was real. But to me it seems as if she portrayed herself as a mistress in an already healthy relationship. I am glad that Mashonda wrote that letter to her because she is right, Mashonda is going to always be there because they share one thing in common that her and Swizz do not (a baby). AK will reap what she sowe and I hate to say that but it is in the Bible. I’m sorry that she became to desperate for a man that she went after a married one. Keep ur head up Mashonda!

Mashonda that msg was well written, i feel your pain and i can see that you want to move on…you just need respect. life is not fair, Swizz handled the situation wrong. However life has a way of teaching people lessons. There’s an old Jamaican saying “today for me, tomorrow for you” AK, if your reading this, keep that in mind. I recently went to a wedding and the pastor stated that God makes no mistakes and God put a marriage together for a special reason. AK once again hustle a man when he is over with his marriage not during the marriage. AK you acted very desperate…I expected so much more from you. For the record you will never be happy with Swizz, everytime he leaves home, you will be worried. Swizz will hurt you, that’s a definite. Wife, stay grounded, that’s your only option right now.
