Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez attends a small press availability with her husband Marc Anthony after a meeting with Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus in the U.S. Capitol September 16, 2009 in Washington, DC. Lopez and Anthony met with the speaker and members of the CHC to discuss education in the Latino community and the historic college affordability legislation the House will consider this week.

Lawyers for Jennifer Lopez have sent a cease and desist letter to producers of “How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J-Lo and Ojani Noa Story,” a movie chronicling her marriage to Cuban model/waiter Ojani Noa.

The question I have is, who the heck would even be interested in his story? The waiter/model married J.Lo in 1997. The marriage only lasted a year, and Noa has been vocal about his opinion that he deserved a better divorce settlement. Noa says the film would be about his life as an immigrant who tried to force himself upon Lopez, and compared it to how Borat was to Pamela Anderson in the movie Borat. Hot mess!

According to The Wrap, he’s currently casting for the movie and wants to start filming in February.

Naturally, Lopez wants none of this, and her attorneys have already sent over a cease and desist letter to Noa, citing an earlier injunction against writing about Lopez’s personal life. Since it’s a parody, the verdict’s up in the air on whether he’ll be able to move forward with the project.

Signs of a recession! Eryone trying to make a dollar at of fifteen cents! :(
