Ludacris is definitely showing his philanthropic side these days.

Ludacris and fellow ATL rapper T.I. both donated $10,000 to help flood victims in their hometown of Atlanta. As of Wednesday, recent storms triggered widespread flooding across Georgia, causing $250 million in damage and placing more than a dozen counties on the list to receive federal aid.

An earlier report from TMZ said Ludacris had planned to partner with Home Depot and Sam’s Club and put together a food bank as part of the efforts. The foundation spokesman said the artist is still exploring options at this point.

“As you know, he loves Atlanta and is very concerned and interested,” a foundation spokesman said. “He’s had a conversation with a couple of people, his colleagues, we’re not going to name names anymore. They are looking at how to pool their resources.”
