Chiefs Eagles Football

We previously revealed a rumor that NFL player, Michael Vick, was shopping around a reality show. Well BET picked it up!

The reality show is set for 8 episodes early 2010. It is tentatively entitled “The Michael Vick Project” LA Times reports.

“I just want people to really get to know me as an individual,” Vick said last week in an interview from his home in Philadelphia. “What I want to do is change the perception of me. I am a human being. I’ve made some mistakes in the past, and I wish it had never happened. But it’s not about how you fall, but about how you pick yourself up.”

The producers are calling it a “docu-series” rather than a “reality show.” AJC reports that BET promises they won’t shy away from his issues related to dogfighting and how that impacted his career and his  personal life. What they are keeping secret is how much Vick will be compensated for the show.

James DuBose, who has produced “The Keyshia Cole Show,” “Tiny & Toya” and “Frankie & Neffe” for BET, is overseeing the

production. Supposedly DuBose is in Philly already shooting footage for the show!

Will you be tuning in?

Ya know, out of all the bufoonery on BET right now, I actually will probably watch this…I love me some Vick :)
