Our President Barack Obama is the 2009 recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize! Nobel Committee shocked the World, especially the HATERS by Awarding Obama’s “Extraordinary” Diplomacy less than 1 year into his 1st term! CONGRATS!!! (see video aftre the jump)

Here’s what the committee had to say about it:

“He has created a new international climate. We are awarding Obama for what he has done. Many other people and leaders and nations have to respond in a positive way.”

Chairman Thorbjorn Jagland added, “We are not awarding the prize for what may happen in the future but for what he has done in the previous year. We would hope this will enhance what he is trying to do.”

Here’s what President Obama had to say:

“I am both surprised and deeply humbled,” Obama said at the White House.

“I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments. But rather as an affirmation of American leadership. … I will accept this award as a call to action.”

“This award is not simply about my administration,” he said. It “must be shared” with everyone who strives for “justice and dignity.”
