In light of the sudden death of Kandi Burruss’ fiance, Ashley “AJ” Jewell, The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 2 Reunion Special will be postponed. As you know AJ (PIC’D above with his kids) died from massive head injuries during a physical altercation with another male in the parking lot of a strip club in Atlanta.

Bravo had planned to taped a two-part show last week that would have aired the network on October 29 and November 5. However, those shows will have to be rescheduled in light of the death of Jewell, series co-star Dwight Eubanks told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution last week.

“I don’t see them editing [Jewell] out,” he told the newspaper. “It’s television. It’s reality. We just have to prepare and gear up for next year.”

Commercials for this Thursday’s episode showed clips from therapy sessions with Burruss, her mother and Jewell.

Eubanks told the Journal-Constitution that he doesn’t know if Burruss will continue with the “Housewives” or not. “She’s had such a dramatic year,” Eubanks said. “She had her uncle die, too. She has her own career to focus on. Now her life has changed with her daughter and taking temporary custody of [A.J.'s] twins.”

The funeral for Ashley “A.J.” Jewell will be held on Friday at the Ray of Hope Christian Church in DeKalb Country, Georgia, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The man charged in Jewell’s death, Frederick Richardson, was denied bail during a court appearance on Tuesday. The defense attorney alleges Jewell pulled a gun on Richardson and drew the first punch during the fatal fight.
