We reported last week that BeBe Winans was booted from an upcoming “Karaoke Challenge” episode of Oprah Winfrey Show because of his pending domestic violence case. Oprah was accused of having “double standards”, but Debra Winans (BeBe’s estranged wife) says that she applauds Winfrey’s decision.
“It further demonstrates the fact that Oprah continues to be a strong voice against domestic violence and that she’s willing to take the steps necessary to defend the defenseless,” Debra said in a statement last week.
In February, BeBe was arrested for allegedly shoving Debra to the pavement outside of her home during an argument over child custody. He is due back in court on Jan. 20.
Honies, I honestly think BeBe was defending himself or trying to leave that hostile enviroment~! Out of all the years they’ve been married, this is my FIRST time hearing of him striking her~ Some women try to provoke men into an altercation, so they can damage that man’s name or reputation…I see her clearly doing this.
