RIHANNA TALKS ABOUT WHAT SHE “XPOSED” CHRIS ON 20/20…TEAM BREEZY GOES IN ON RIHANNA ON TWITTER!

Chris Brown prefers to keep the details of that now infamous February assault on Rihanna private, but she Rihanna says she needed to get it off her chest. Following her candid interview with 20/20, Rihanna took it to MTV News to further discuss her decision for “xposing” Chris Brown on nationally TV. Check it out after the jump.
“It was the biggest weight lifted off my chest,” she told MTV News. “If you watch the interview, you see it was a subject that I didn’t talk about for the eight months that I didn’t talk about it, so that was my first real time opening up. I had a lot of tension bottled up. So when I finally spoke about it, it felt really good. More importantly, it felt good that people got something positive out of it, because it’s devastating. It’s not fun to talk about or listen to, but there are a lot of women who are going through it, a lot of teenagers who are scared to talk about it. So I thought it was a good thing that I can be that voice for them and help them get out of that situation.”
While Chris Brown thinks Rihanna should have kept the story of him beating her while driving on a public street a private matter, his dancers have took it to Twitter to express their dislike for Rihanna “xposing” Chris. Following her much publicized interview with Diane Sawyer on 20/20, Chris Brown’s friends lashed out at Rih-Rih again via Twitter:

Rihanna wants to help young girls/women who are going through domestic abuse; on the other hand, Chris Brown doesn’t want anyone to know what a crazy individual he really is. Biting someone’s ears?? Psycho.
I agree with what Keri Hilson said on twitter. The 20/20 interview was deep but there is a big gap between Rihanna looking at the text message and him beating her. I believe she left that part out because it will make her look bad. How can she play the victim if she hit him, spit on him, pushed him, cussed him out, or whatever?
I really don’t care what she says I believe she provoked him in some sort of way. People don’t just flip like that for nothing (not unless they have a mental illness). On top of that, there was a police document that stated they were both violent towards each other. On one occasion, she slapped him while on vacation and he pushed her. Why didn’t Diane Swayer bring that up?
I think they both went in on each other and he got the best of her that night. In no way shape or form do i think she DESERVED IT! I do believe that her actions, as well as his, resulted in her getting her ass beat that night. I also believe that if the police wouldn’t have gotten involved she would’ve stayed silent and never said anything. Because the police were involved and the world (as well as her employers) knew she was in an abusive relationship she felt forced to leave him or lose her career.
I don’t think she went back to him in March to tell him not to do anything stupid (like she said). I believe she went back to him because she wanted to be with him. But since she was on national TV she couldn’t say that because once again, it would have a negative affect on her image.
I think it’s safe to say that we all know that she’s only doing these interviews to help her upcoming record sales. But I think her actions will back fire. I haven’t heard any positive comments come from viewers of the interviews (except the one above). Everyone seems to think that she’s just trying to play, “Poor little me.” I’m not a Chris Brown fan and I’m DEFINITELY not a Rihanna fan (y’all know I can’t stand the bitch) therefore, I can’t wait for all this to blow over and people to stop talking about it.

I agree that details are missing inbetween the text message and the fight. I believe Rhianna was beating on Chris before that fateful February night. I believe Chris was fed up and lost control with months of secret abuse coming to a head. He absolutely beat that woman and that will always be the first fact people will point too.
Where are the pictures of Chris? I know she had to scratch or bruise him. Women are abusive too. I should know, I used to smack a man in a hot minute. With age comes wisdom and knowledge. I hope they both get counseling and move forward positively from this painful public life lesson.

yea..u aint the voice of nothing, rihanna. I don’t beleive she didn’t hit him..I know these Caribbean women. I have a Trini mom and Jamaican Dad, and lord knows my mom used to throw shit and get physical with my dad on a regular. Her sister..sweetest woman you’ll ever meet..soft spoken/well spoken, and everyone loves her. One day her husband pissed her off..and she threw an iron upside his head. Rihanna can paint this pretty little picture of herself, but she’s not foolin anyone..I can just look at her and picture her in that car, slappin CB upside his head and all that. If you’re gonna put yourself out, why leave out the important things? Makes her look shady and consistent and I jus need for her to stfu and stop with this whole bullshit.

LOS ANGELES/EWORLDWIRE/Nov. 5, 2009 — Pop singer Rihanna recently made a widely publicized statement to Glamour Magazine that she wants to “shed light on the reality of domestic violence.” The National Coalition For Men (NCFM) calls on Rihanna to discuss her own reported violence against Brown as well if she wants to shed light on the problem honestly.
According to court records and other sources, Rihanna struck Brown in the face “numerous times” before Brown assaulted her (’http://news.ninemsn.com.au/entertainment/768865/rihanna-hit-chris-brow…’). NCFM purports although that would not justify his more severe assault, her violence should not be ignored, and if she does not “woman up” to it then her message will be the usual one-sided double standards that leave female perpetration covered up.
