The biggest topic on the blogs and twitter is baseball player, Sammy Sosa’s recent unveiling of his obvious bleached skin at the Latin Grammy Awards. Buddy pulled a Michael Jackson! The former Chicago Cubs slugger was photographed at the Latin Grammy awards in Las Vegas last week with a noticeably whiter face.

Sosa says he has been using a cream for a long time to rejuvenate his skin. He said his new smooth face combined with the bright lights of the cameras made him look whiter than he realy is. LOL! Sosa insist he is not trying to look like late pop star Michael Jackson and is not suffering from any skin illness. He declined to identify the product he is using.

His friend also told the Chicago Tribune that Sosa is not racist nor is he trying to look like Michael Jackson. “He’s not trying to be Michael Jackson. He is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin. Women have it all of the time. He was surprised he came out looking so white. I thought it was a body double. Part of (the photo appearance) is just the lighting. He is in the middle of doing a cleansing process to his skin. The picture is deceiving.”

He said, ‘If you saw me in person, you would be surprised. When you see me in person, it is not going to seem like the picture.’ “People who saw him in person did not react the same way. He can’t believe it is such a big deal.”
