During a recent interview, Lil Mama was asked about her thoughts on Young Money’s first lady Nicki Minaj. “Nicki Minaj is a talented rapper,” Lil Mama said. “She’s out there, she’s doing her. What she represents, I don’t represent and she’s doing something different, that’s her lane. As the voice of the young people, Lil Mama, I focus on bringing up young girls to respect their bodies”.
Lil Mama also reveals she is now working on he sophomore album.

Lil Mama kept it as positive as she could lol. I don’t think she “dissed” Nicki, she just spoke the truth. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, female rappers like Nicki Minaj (and Trina) are an embarrassment to females rappers and female’s in general.
They tell the world to be a female in the rap game you gotta talk about how fine you are and how much dudes need (or should want) to fuck you. Which is not true! They don’t rap about real shit, true shit, shit that matters. It wasn’t until Trina broke up with Wayne when she begin to have real tracks. But even still, the majority of her album was cocky and arrogant lyrics about how good she look. Until female rappers start coming out with respectful shit, REAL females won’t have positive things to say about them.
