We hear that 50 Cent showed up at the Powerhouse Concert in Philadelphia this past weekend. He showed up unannounced and took T.I.’s spot during the concert due to TI’s legal troubles. Why did 50 cent pull out a white pair of sunglasses, tightened his shirt and started dancing and jumping around like Kanye. A loyal reader emailed us a youtube clip of his bufoonery. It’s funny!

50 CENT AND LIL KIM make amends! The two have put their beef aside and recorded a follow-up to their original hit “The Magic Stick”. This one is called “Wanna Lick (Magic Stick 2)” and is the first single off the new G-Unit album Shoot to Kill (which drops on Dec. 18). Listen Here:

Rumor has it that 50 Cent got into a physical altercation with actor Frank John Hughes on the set of their new movie Righteous Kill (no PUN intended). According to a person who witnessed the incident, 50 Cent and Frank Hughes got into a heated argument when the actor confronted 50 about not knowing his lines. (more…)

Everyone seems to “follow somebody’s lead”. First Diddy, than Usher, now 50 Cent…It looks like 50 CENT is going to be the next hip-hop star to come out with his own FRAGRANCE. According to 50, he’s putting out a new fragrance for both men and women. . . called POWER. No other information has been given as to when it will be released…

This past week Kanye sold 226,000 units (down 76% from last week) and 50 Cent sold 143,000 units (down 79%). And word is things are looking even worse this week. According to early numbers, neither artist is expected to sell more than 100,000 units this week. Ummm…I guess its because they both went platinum or gold during first week sales…I’m over this already, are you?

Allhiphop reports Sean “Diddy” Combs recently revealed that he was open to participate in a video for the “I Get Money” billionaire remix, which features fellow moguls Jay-Z and 50 Cent.  “If it came down to a video, I would make sure the video is right,” Sean “Diddy” Combs told AllHipHop.com. “The session was the way you can imagine it. It was a billion dollars in the building.” All three rappers landed on Forbes’ Richest Rappers list.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, HOV had this to say about West’s victory…. “It makes me proud as someone who’s watched his growth from the beginning, when he came in as a hungry producer, to now he’s a rock star,” Hov said about Kanye. “I’m happy for him on that level. And I’m excited for creativity as well, because I think that’s a win for that as well. You know, people mimic success. And in order to mimic that success, you have to put in a lot of work. You have to really care about the music.” “It’s pretty much how much [Kanye] cares about it,” Hov emphasized.
