Entertainment Tonight got the first look at the trailer for the movie “Obsessed” starring Beyonce and Idris Elba! Idris is soooo fine! Scheduled to come out in the U.S. in April of 2009, “Obsessed” will be following Derek Charles, a happily-married manager who finds out that his happy family is put in jeopardy when a temp worker Lisa Sheridan starts to stalk him. Aside from Beyonce Knowles, Idris Elba and Ali Larter, it also stars Scout Taylor-Compton, Christine Lahti, and Bruce McGill.

To all my overseas loyal readers and Beyonce fans. I got some good news for ya! Beyonce has “xposed” her month long European tour to promote her latest album “I Am…Sasha Fierce”. The tour kicks off on April 26 in Zagreb.

We hear that Designer/director Thierry Mugler his been hired as the creative advisor and costume designer on the “I AM…” tour, which will hit North America in the summer.

“I Am … Sasha Fierce” has spawned No. 1 hits in Norway, Sweden, South Africa, Korea, Brazil and Denmark, reports Billboard.

Cadillac Records opened up in theatres this past Friday, December 5th. The movie that starred Beyonce, Mos Def, Cedric the Entertainer and more was a FLOPPER (we heard)! Cadillac Records chronicles the rise of Chess Records and its recording artists in Chicago of the 1950s and 60s. It had a $12 million dollar production budget and yet, it only grossed $3.5 million at the box office. Did you go see it? If so, what did you think about the movie?

LMAO! Sasha Fierce may have some competition. She got to meet her NOW FAMOUS competition, Shane Mercado on the red carpert at the premiere of her new movie Cadillac Records.

UPDATE: BEYONCE TO HEADLINE ESSENCE MUSIC FEST! Beyonce was announced Tuesday as the first artist confirmed for next year’s Essence Music Festival, which returns to New Orleans July 3, 4 and 5, 2009.

Beyonce covers the new issue of GIANT magazine. She talks a lil bit about her hubby Jay-Z in her cover story: “Jay is so cool. He can just stand on stage completely still, and the audience will go nuts.  Me? I have to work it! I’m shaking it and throwing it and rolling around on the floor.”

Check out the pictures from the Movie Premiere of “Cadillac Records”. Beyonce stars at Etta James in the movie. This film is inspired by the real-life events of the old-school blues label Chess Records. She is also an executive producer of the film.

In the new issue of Giant magazine, Beyonce says she prepared for the potential challenges of marriage by watching her mother and father struggle and overcome their differences as husband and wife. Beyonce reveals: “My parents are tighter now than ever, but they’ve been through it all. There were times when they were together, times when they were apart. I learned that it’s a lot of hard work, that it’s more than a dress.” Beyonce and Jay-Z married in a private ceremony earlier this year.

We all knew that somebody was going to come out with a rebuttal to Beyonce’s IF I WERE A BOY! Guess who did it, R. Kelly baby! R. Kelly issued a remix to Beyonce’s hit Monday, which is currently topping the UK Charts. Singing “You’re not a boy, so you don’t understand,” Kelly puts his stamp on the Toby Gad produced single. “So I go to the club with the guys and sometimes flirt with the girls.” “I should be able to roll out as long as I’m coming home to you,” Kelly continues attempting to cover a man’s perspective. While Kelly sings about being a guy who says “I am not a perfect man” for the majority of the song, he does take aim at being a girl for a brief moment. “If I were a girl.
