World Premiere of Busta Rhymes I GOT BASS video!

Yahoo News reports that Busta Rhymes was detained at London City Airport by immigration officers. He was refused entry in Britain due to “unresolved convictions” in the U.S. The performer remained in custody in London while RockCorps took legal steps to try to reverse the decision. Counsel for Busta says had been allowed into Britain twice before this year. He was to appear at a concert Friday at London’s mammoth Albert Hall. Ludacris has agreed to perform in Busta’s place. Busta Rhymes’ bodyguard was shot multiple times and found dead in the back of his pickup truck on yesterday. Jermaine Williams, 35, of the Bronx, was found dead in Ozone Park, Queens. Police discovered blood dripping from the backseat of William’s SUV and later found his body wrapped in a blanket in the backseat of the SUV.  Williams, also known as “Black,” was Rhymes’ bodyguard, however, it is not confirmed that he was working for the rapper during presstime. Busta has been in Europe and was not in town at the time of the incident. Williams, who leaves behind two children, reportedly went to Queens to visit his grandmother and ended up missing for almost 24 hours. (more…)

Spliff Star, Busta Rhyme’s hype man was arrested in Sweden! Sweden authorities charged him with suspicion of drug possession. Police raided the artists’ hotel and found an unidentified substance in Spliff’s belongings. Spliff, born William Lewis, was arrested after performing with Rhymes Saturday at Berns. He was released from police custody after leaving a urine sample, which will be tested for drugs. Hip Hop Police are worldwide I see!

This single was produced by Cool & Dre and it’s off of Busta’s eighth album ‘I’m Blessed’ due out June 17th. I’m not a big fan of Busta, but this song is HOTTT!…a serious problem! I’m a big fan of Linkin Park however!

Rapper Busta Rhymes was sentenced for two assault cases. The Judge sentenced Busta to 3 years probation and 10 days of community service, for assaulting a fan in August of 2006 as well as his former driver in December of 2006. “Busta is glad to put this behind him and finally get on with his life,” Rhymes’ attorney Scott Leemon said. NY Daily News reports that Busta Rhymes was seen celebrating his significantly younger fiancée’s birthday at the Chinese eatery Chin Chin. Fellow diners cold not stop gawking at her approximately 20 carat engagement ring. Damn!  The noticeably happy couple snuggled and fed each other. Rumor has it the rapper called the owners and asked them to stay open an hour later just so they could swing by.

Rampage recently said in an interview that Flipmode Squad has changed its name and they have no desire to work with Busta Rhymes. “Rah Digga, Baby Sham, Spliff Starr, and myself. We just changed the name of the group and it’s now called FMS” says Rampage. And when asked if FMS was still working with Busta Rhymes, Rampage had this to say:

“Nah, we just decided to do our own thing…It’s not under Flipmode anymore. It’s under FMS, just me, Sham, Digga, and Starr and FMS stands for Famous Millionaire Squad.”

Rampage also talked about Busta’s recent legal troubles and his anger management:

“Well, if they say he did it, then he did it. I ain’t with him all the time…I just don’t got nothing to do with people being murdered at video shoots or none of that. I’m just trying to do music man.”

Conspiracy or mere coincidence? Four rappers, including Remy Ma, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, and Ja Rule were at the same NYC Criminal Court this morning for hearings on all seperate and non related charges. (more…)
