Guess who’s bizzack! Cam’ron, former Dipset affiliate, is on the cover of the April issue of XXL. He gives us an insight as to his hiatus, Diplomats ownership, and his beef with Jim Jones and Juelz Santana, along with some other issues. Cam said he has moved on from his era with Dipset even though his fans can’t imagine Dipset without him. “…So I understand what the fans are saying,” Cam told XXL executive editor Vanessa Satten, who penned the article. “And it’s kinda messed up. But what you gotta realize is that things can always be fixed behind the scenes. But once a problem gets public, it’s kind of unfixable.” (more…)
Since Cam’ron has been laying low, Juelz Santana and Jim Jones became the face of the Diplomats/Dipset movement. Well, although Cam’ron has been hard to pin down, he is making BIG moves…Cam’ron recently sold Juelz Santana contract to Def Jam for $2 Million. “A! What’s good !! Yeah, I’m free!! And ready to do me!! But its still Dip Set 4 life!! Its just going to be a new chapter!!” he stated. Although he said that it was “still Dip Set 4 life,” he followed by addressing his relationship with Killa Cam. (more…)
Juelz Santana took the opportunity to clarify the status of his relationship with his Dipset counterpart, Cam’Ron, on the Angie Martinez radio show. Here’s a lil bit of what he had to say:
“Me and Cam gotta work some things out, bottom line,” the rapper said. “I came in the game when I was young right, so it’s no reason for me – to have accomplished and did as much as I did – to be getting treated the same way as I was treated when I just came in.”
Hmmmm…
As mentioned in previous scoop, Cam’ron of Dipset seem to be in hiding for a long time. Especially after releasing his home made Youtube video clip of him warning 50 Cent that it was going to be a “hot summer”. According to his interview with radio personality Miss Info, during the summer his mother suffered from several strokes which caused her to become paralyzed on one side of her body resulting in Cam’s hiatus.
