Don’t believe the hype everyone. Despite the reports, Chris Brown did not update his official private Facebook page. The New York Post claims that Breezy updated his Facebook page listed under his full name “Christopher Maurice Brown” reading: “You’ll begin to see her true colors. Believe it!”

However, a source close to Chris Brown’s camp says “Due to the dubious nature of the Facebook page, I don’t know how anybody would believe this. Of course Chris did not comment himself and this is not his Facebook page. “A little research shows that there are tons of Chris imposters on both Myspace and Facebook and none of them are Chris, including this one,” continues the source. There are so many rumors going around about the Chrianna situation, and I wouldn’t believe any one of them. The only two people who know what happened is Chris Brown and Rihanna…but I wish they would share the details! Jeez! Well, R&B singer, Keisha Chante, who is reportedly playing the late Aaliyah in a future biopic, got caught up in one of the rumors which stated that Chante texted Chris Brown that subject night and Rihanna got extremely furious over it which led to the physical altercation between the two.

Well, Chante’s manager has confirmed that the rumor is untrue. “This is another unsubstantiated, untrue report; she was nowhere near the incident in any way,” Mona Scott tells Us. “She was nowhere near Rihanna or Chris Brown. She had nothing to do with any of that.” (more…)

Chris Brown is up for a NAACP Image Award. Even though he is accused in a domestic dispute with girlfriend Rihanna, Brown is running for outstanding male artist at the 40th annual award ceremony. The awards are being presented tonight! Last year, Brown one outstanding male artist of the year. This year, his girlfriend is up for outstanding female artist. We are not sure if Rihanna or Breezy will be attending the ceremony, but we highly doubt it. Other nominees for outstanding male artist are Common, Jamie Foxx, John Legend and will.i.am. Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson and Mariah Carey are also nominated for outstanding female artist. (more…)

I would love to move on from this sad story, but my readers are still inquiring about the Chrianna saga! Well, in 2007 Chris Brown talked his allegedly abusive stepfather. Chris Brown revealed to GIANT Mag, “He used to hit my mom… He made me terrified all the time…I remember one night he made her nose bleed. I was crying and thinking, ‘I’m just gonna go crazy on him one day…’ I hate him to this day.” Can we say that Chris Brown is a product of his environment?

Chris Brown’s stepfather, Donnelle Hawkins, spoke with Access Hollywood for the first time since the arrest of his stepson. “[Chris] has to take responsibility for his own actions,” Hawkins told Access. Access Hollywood asked Hawkins if he believed the reports that Chris beat up Rihanna….Hawkins said, “I wouldn’t be surprised.” (more…)

No more fresh mint breath for C. Breezy. Wrigley’s has chosen to suspend their contract and put his campaign on hold due to the recent domestic violence charge Chris Brown faces.

“Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown,” the company said in a statement. “We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”

UPDATE: Chris Brown also was dropped from the “Got Milk” campaign. The folks behind the popular “Got Milk?” spots have announced they’re dropping the R&B star from their celeb roster, two days after Brown was busted for allegedly roughing up Rihanna.

Although some media outlets are claiming that there was a deadly weapon used during the altercation between Chris Brown and Rihanna, LAPD has confirmed that there was no weapon used in the “alleged” attack.

Sources tell TMZ that even though the police reports cites “PENAL CODE SECTION 245″ which is “Assault with a Deadly Weapon”, they are sure there was no weapon involved. Chris Brown’s Lambo which he was renting for $2,000.00 a day was also impounded for invidence.

TMZ reveals that one of the law enforcement sources claim that Rihanna suffered contusions and bite marks (per the police report).

This story gets more strange by the hour. So after Chris Brown posted bail late last night, Breezy and his possibly “battered” girlfriend Rihanna were spotted getting gas at a L.A. fuel station around 1 a.m. Witnesses say that Rihanna looked spaced out while sitting in the car. The two tried to dodge paparazzi and ended up speeding off and running a red light.

UPDATE: I believe these pictures were taken BEFORE the “pre-grammy” incident, even though several media outlets are reporting that these were taken post Chris Brown’s arrest.  To Be Determined…We’ll continue to keep you posted!

Update on Chris Breezy’s situation. LAPD say Chris Brown has turned himself in to authorities investigating an alleged felony battery involving the R&B singer. Chris Brown walked into the station at 7 p.m. and is being interviewed by detectives. As previously reported (see below), Brown is being investigated for domestic violence. Both Chris Brown and Rihanna were no shows at the Grammys this evening. We’ll keep you posted!

With less than an hour left until the Grammy Awards begin, we got some disturbing news. Chris Brown is under investigation for an alleged domestic violence situation in L.A. We hear that around 12:30 a.m. this morning, the popstar and a woman were in a vehicle when an argument started. According to the police statement, Brown and the unidentified female began to physically fight. The unidentified woman suffered visible injuries and reported it the the police. Chris Brown had left the scene by the time the police got there. Authorities will not release the identity of the female and will not confirm if the female is Rihanna. We do know that Rihanna and Chris Brown did attend Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy party in Beverly Hills earlier that evening.

“If police locate Brown, yes, he’s subject to arrest,” Officer Harding added. Chris Brown was not on the Grammy Award red carpet, and we are unsure if he will make it to the Grammys to perform tonight. Tune In and find out..
