D.Woods, former member of Danity Kane, was spotted working that pole at a lingerie party for my boy J’s birthday party at Club Bed hosted by The 400 Club in Miami Beach. I’ve never seen that freaky crazy side of her, but she sure let her weave down and was sliding down that pole like she was used to it…Hmmmm…I noticed one of the girls from I Love Ray J, “Stilts” was in the building too. In a recent interview with Aubrey O’Day, former member of Danity Kane, she explains her decision to appear nude in the March 2009 Cover of Playboy Magazine:

“Playboy for me was one of the most liberating things that I’ve done as a woman. You could never imagine how empowering it is to be nude in front of cameras and have people looking at you in that way and seeing you as beautiful. A lot of the times I think I’m seen as a bad girl and I think that’s because I’m so open. I mean, I think a lot of the type of way I’m portrayed in the media isn’t always the way … the way I am in my heart. And so I think that we were able to capture that. … I think in society we tend to put ourselves in boxes and corners and restrict ourselves, and we constantly feel the need to not say this or not wear this or do that. Taking it all off and being nude is the most natural state that you can be in, and being able to feel comfortable with that and show that sex can be beautiful, comfortable … is going to be empowering for people.”

It is officially confirmed that Aubrey O’Day, former member of Danity Kane, will pose nude for the upcoming issue of Playboy Magazine. It is reported that Aubrey will earn $500,000.00 for the photo shoot. According to New York Daily News, an associate of O’Day says “Aubrey’s making about $500,000 to drop trou (pose naked). For that kind of money, she was like ‘Why not?’”

Aubrey O’Day loves the attention, doesn’t she? Rumors spread that she was a lesbian after Aubrey was seen with her best girl-friend kissing and holding hands at the beach. Then she showed up to a Zen Green Tea Liqueur launch party last Wednesday with a woman she called her “girlfriend”. US Magazine interviewed Aubrey and asked her about her sexual preferences. “At this point in my life, I wouldn’t say one way or another what my preference is sexually,” the former Danity Kane singer tells Usmagazine.com. “The only thing I’m looking for in life is incredible passion and honest love…no matter what options are on the table,” she tells Us. “All I really operate on is the way I feel in my heart when it comes to love.”

We hear that Aubrey O’day, former member of Danity Kane, has posed for Playboy. Are you suprised? She practically was pictured almost naked in her Complex photo spread and seemed to be a “free spirit” on the Making of the Band reality series.

TMZ reported that O’Day spent Tuesday in a Manhattan photo studio shooting a spread for the magazine with celebrity photographer Markus Klinko, who has snapped portraits of Mariah Carey and Pamela Anderson, and shot the cover of Beyoncé’s 2003 album Dangerously in Love. ESSENCE.COM: Last night’s finale of “Making The Band 4” was sort of subdued drama with a pretty ambiguous ending. Diddy has left the ladies of Danity Kane to decide what the group’s future will be. What is your hope for the group?
DAWN RICHARD: We talked about it and there’s a fear we have of losing our fan base. But at the end of the day, Diddy made his choice to let us decide and we would like to continue with the name and the group.  This is our lives and you can’t just say no to your dreams.  I love working with the group. However, it’s so hard to say what will happen. I would prefer that the original group members remain. It’s hard enough for fans to follow as is. (more…)
