Check out the movie still pics from the Cadillac Records movie starring Beyonce (as Etta James), Mos Def, Gabrielle Union. The pictures were recently released. Exploring the 1950s musical era, the film chronicles the life of the influential Chicago-based record-company executive Leonard Chess (Adrien Brody), and the singers who recorded for Chess Records. Beyonce, 27, who also serves as executive producer, stars as the legendary blues singer Etta James. Cadillac Records opens in theaters everywhere on Friday, December 5.

Dwade got xposed this past weekend. Miami Heat had a pre-season exhibition game in France and the HEAT lost terribly. A Fox Sportscaster said on LIVE TV that the reason why Dwayne Wade wasn’t playing well, because he was having a “Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson” moment. The reason being is because Dwayne Wade had Gabrielle Union as a guest at the game which fans say distracted his play similar to Jessica Simpson distracting her boyfriend Tony at a Cowboys game in which they lost. The Miami Herald newspaper confirmed that Gabby was indeed at the game seated behind the Heat bench with Dwayne’s family on Thursday in Paris. (more…)

We hear from Allure Magazine that they have chosen Gabrielle Union and Jill Scott among five other celebrities to bare there naked bodies in their May Issue. The spread will promote the celebration of various female body shapes.  “Here I am, naked in a magazine at size 16 … We are all beautiful, each and every one of us,” said Jill Scott.  (more…)

Gabrielle Union has filed an invasion of privacy lawsuit against two Georgia men for posting a fake job advertisement on Craigslist.com. The defendants placed a bogus job posting on the website seeking assistants for the actress.

Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan, and Gabrielle Union are on the cover of the new issue of Essence Magazine. The actresses spoke candidly about gossip blogs and I give a response. Check for that after the cut.

Essence: How do you deal with the 24-hours-a-day gossip that comes out on the Internet?

Gabrielle: Just last week somebody gave me a baby. This isn’t Perez Hilton or the White gossip people, these are women of color, specifically Black women who, for whatever reason, don’t like the company I keep.
