Bow Wow and the Game have recently entered into a video game war. Earlier in the week, Bow Wow challenged The Game to a ‘Madden NFL 09′ showdown worth $100,000, which Game quickly accepted. Game just confirmed it on 106 & Park that the challenge is on. All proceeds will go to charity. The battle is said to be televised. Love it! LOL

The Game has ended his long-running feud with former mentor 50 Cent, insisting the “beef” between the two rap rivals is over. The Game insists the feud was never anything that was going to escalate to a level of the East Coast-West Coast battle that ended with Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. six feet under.

The Game wants to put an end to the ongoing fued between 50 Cent and himself. Game said the “beef” was never anything that was going to escalate to a level of East Coast vs. West Coast which ultimately killed Tupac and Biggie, but he wants to end it now that he is retiring from Hip Hop. (more…)

So 50 Cent wanted to come clean on why he “xposed” the recorded phone conversation with former G-Unit rapper Young Buck on his website. As previously posted, Young Buck was recorded having a phone conversation with 50 Cent and cried about his financial woes and dismissal from G-Unit. Well, 50 Cent hit up Hot 97 radio station and had this to say about the incident…

“A lot of times people don’t see what the other person is doing,” 50 said, explaining to Hot 97’s Angie Martinez why he recorded the conversation in the first place. “They don’t understand the cause and effect. They don’t see the other person; they just pay attention to me.”       

According to MTV.com, 50 said the phone call took place in March, at a time when he “was trying to be as helpful as possible” to Buck. 50 also said that he would not record any future tracks dissing Buck, but did imply that their friendship is beyond repair.  (more…)

The Game appeared on New York’s Hot 97 with Funk Master Flex and told the on-air jock he plans to sign Glenn the Barber to his record company, The Black Wall Street. Glenn the Barber is reportedly the infamous man who knocked out Suge Knight in an Los Angeles, California club last week….WTF?

The upcoming albums of both G-Unit and The Game are suppose to drop on the same date. However, 50 Cent tells MTV that he plans on pushing The Game’s third solo album back. The Game’s third album entitled L.A.X. and G-Unit’s sophmore LP titled “Terminate On Sight” are scheduled to drop on June 24th. But 50 Cent has a plan up his sleeve, “I’mma wait a little, then I’m just gonna push his album back,” 50 Cent divulged to MTV News.  “I don’t think there’s anyone that would legitimately look at him like it’s a competition, him versus G-Unit.  It just doesn’t make sense.  I make money every time he releases an album.  He signed a five-album deal.  He’s only on album three.” (more…)

I’m confused, and I bet you will be too. Although we previously reported that the information leaked that The Game was released from prison on March 10th were false, Game confirms that it is indeed true. The Hip-Hop Compton star has confirmed that he was released from prison on March 10, just eight days after checking into the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles. Game issued an offiicial statement apologizing to all his fans for the conflicting information about his release:

“I apologize….but due to the sensitive negotiations on this matter I felt it appropriate not to give an exact date on my release,” The Game said in a statement. “I am truly grateful to my attorney, family and management for doing a great job in this respect.”   (more…)

Published reports yesterday that Game was released from jail were FALSE. The Game is still locked up in a Los Angeles area prison. The Game’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley allegedly stated that the rapper was released from the Twin Towers Correctional Facility yesterday, after serving eight days of a 60 days jail sentence. The information was inaccurate as the Rapper was simply transferred from The Twin Towers facility, to another jail. “He was transferred to an unnamed prison, due to his gang related background,” a source revealed.
