The People’s Choice Award went down on Wednesday. The CBS ceremony was hosted by Queen Latifah who was looking absolutely stunning in her gowns. The event took place at the Shrine Auditorium. “The Dark Knight” soared away with every trophy it was nominated for Wednesday at the 35th annual fan-favorite CBS ceremony.

Faizon Love got himself in a bit of trouble. He was involved in an alleged battery incident in West Hollywood recently. His friends say that he is only turning himself in to the police because “It’s gone be hell once the media gets a hold of this”.

Supposedly, Love was in a club getting a lap dance from a young high-paid Hollywood stripper when her ex-girlfriend began to cause a scene.  Witnesses claim the comedian attempted to defuse the situation, but the ex-girlfriend’s brother mistakened his generosity for aggression.

The Bouncer claims that the argument continued outside the club then next thing he saw some guy battered on the flow and Big F (Faizon) was running towards a car. (more…)

If Sheree Whitfield of Real Housewives of Atlanta thought she was going to get her “seven figure” settlement from her ex NFL husband, Bob Whitfield, she sure was in for a big suprise. She received a settlement last year, but thought she should be entitled to more to maintain her high roller lifestyle. During the proceeding, her attorneys said that Sheree’s limited education and skills inhibited her from earning a decent income, but the judge didn’t care. The settlement agreement required her to move out their $2.6 million home and she would recieve $113,422.00 a year from the divorce which is clearly not enough for Sheree’s lifestyle she says. Sheree also recieved a lump sum of $775,00.00 shares of her ex’s retirement pension, half of the marital property, and child support. Sheree believes she deserves more and has appealed her case all the way to the Georgia Supreme Court. Do you think she should be awarded a BIGGER settlement than that?

RuPaul

I reported back in May of 08 that Ru Paul would be coming out with her/his own Reality show called Rupaul’s Drag Grace. The show will feature contestants competing to become “America’s Next Superstar Drag Queen”. RuPaul will be the host, mentor and judge according to reports. Fans will be allowed to vote online to help pick the contestants http://www.RuPaulsDragRace.com. You should see who they’ve picked already…LOLLLLLL! The show premieres on February 2nd.

Congrats to Ben Affleck and his wifey Jennifer Garner! They welcomed their second daughter recently, Affleck’s rep confirmed. The couple has a three year old girl named Violet who is excited about her baby sister. No specific details have been released but Garner’s reps say: “Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck gave birth to a healthy baby girl and they are doing just fine.”

I love this couple! They are too cute!

Congrats to Rebecca Romijn and her hubby Jerry O’Connell. The two welcomed twin girls on December 28th, 2008. The twins names are Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip. “Mother, father and both girls are all home and doing well,” Romijn’s rep Lewis Kay told PEOPLE x-clusively. (more…)

Sad news for John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston. Their son passed away this past weekend during their family vacation in the Bahamas. Jett had suffered a seizure at their vacation home in Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island where he hit his head on a bath tub. He was later declared dead at a local hospital. A caretaker found their son unconcious in the bathroom Friday morning. This was John Travolta’s only son. Travolta and his wife sent out an official statement to all their fans:

“We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to everyone who has sent their love and condolences,” they said in a statement posted on Preston’s Web site Sunday. (more…)

Dancing With The Stars always seems to amaze me. We hear that Steve Wonder may be on next season’s roster. According to NBC has confirmed that they are finalizing the details. “You’ve got to think, if I have seven children, I’ve got to be able to dance, right?” joked Wonder on the “Valentine in the Morning” radio show. LOL too funny!

Deaf actress Marley Martin and model and amputee Heather Mills were previous contestants on the show.

Family Matters actress Jamie Foxworth, 29, has announced that she is pregnant with her first child. Foxworth who has battled drug addiction and was also an adult porn star, recently appeared on VH1 Celebrity Detox to kick her addiction to weed. She says that she is five months pregnant with her long time boyfriend.

We also hear that she’s writing an autobiography that will be out next year detailing her life struggles.

The LA Lakers vs. Boston Celtics game at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, CA on Christmas Day was definitely a star studded event. Even Prince showed up with his beautiful new girlfriend! Yes Prince was there…enjoying himself! So my lil brother and I were having a conversation on Xmas day about Prince pulling in some “bad” gorgeous chicks. My brother asked me, how does Prince do it because he looks gay? My response…he is PRINCE! And candidly, I think he is a good looking man! What do you think ladies/fellas? Am I right?

Eartha Kitt died this past weekend at the age of 81 from colon cancer. She was a sultry singer, actress, and dancer from South Carolina who became famous for her self-proclaimed “sex kitten” catlike purr and for being America’s most versatile performers, winning two Emmys and nabbing a third nomination. She also was nominated for several Tonys and two Grammys. She will be missed!

As you should already know Bravo has picked up a second season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, EW reports. Will you be tuning in? The first season — starring Kim Zolciak, Sheree Whitfield, NeNe Leakes, DeShawn Snow and Lisa Wu Hartwell — was the biggest Housewives hit for the network, out-performing both The Real Housewives of Orange County and The Real Housewives of New York, according to Variety. When I spoke to Lisa Hartwell during Majestic Saturdays a couple weekends ago, she informed me that the taping of the show would commence in February…so I’m assuming the premiere of Season 2 will debut two to three months from then.

Fox News reported that Sharon Osbourne is currently under investigation by the LAPD after a contestant on her reality show accused the rocker wife of attacking her and sending her to the hospital.  Megan Hauserman, a 26-year-old contestant on “Rock of Love: Charm School” claims Osbourne pulled her hair violently and scratched her on the recent reunion episode until security managed to pull her off. Daily Mail reports that Osbourne, 56, reportedly lost it when Hauserman said she was merely famous for managing a “brain-dead rock star,” in reference to her husband Ozzy Osbourne. (more…)

Sad News! Actor, Macaulay Culkin’s sister, Dakota, was killed by a car in Los Angeles this week. Police reports the  29-year-old stepped in front of a car in West L.A. just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday and was rushed to UCLA hospital with massive head trauma, according to LAPD spokesman Richard French. I knew it!!!! November 6, I reported that T-Boz was selling her Houston home along with everything in it per a Craigslist entry and her home being on Real Estate website. Then I got an email from someone who said the home wasn’t owned by T-Boz…so I immediately cleared up the rumor…Now, TMZ has gotten the official document that T-Boz’s Georgia home is being foreclosed for failing to pay mortgage payments. Her five-bedroom, nearly 10,000-sq. ft. house owned by T-Boz (real name: Tionne Watkins-Rolison) is about to go on the auction block in January 2009. According to public records, she’s defaulted on the original principal of her mortgage (around $530K), therefore the state is taking it. (more…)

Actor De’Angelo Wilson, an up-and-coming actor whose biggest role was as DJ Iz in the 2002 Eminim film “8 Mile,” has been found dead in an apparent suicide. The actor’s body was discovered in a room inside of a commercial building in Los Angeles. Authorities believe that he hung himself. Sad!
