We reported last week that BeBe Winans was booted from an upcoming “Karaoke Challenge” episode of Oprah Winfrey Show because of his pending domestic violence case. Precious: Based On The Novel ‘Push’ By Sapphire was a smash hit even though it was only in limited theatres. I sho nuff couldn’t find any theatres showing it in South Florida! 
The inner-city drama — about a sexually-abused, obese girl battling teen pregnancy and physical abuse in 1987 Harlem — earned $1.8 million at 18 theaters in its first weekend of limited release, according to Variety. (more…)
