This is horrible news…We gotta do better with our kids people…The News reported that Derrion Albert, a 16-year-old honors student at Fenger High School in Chicago, was beaten to death during a fight between two gangs that broke out on the street as he walked home from school last Thursday. A northwest Ohio woman is carrying a Michgan’s woman’s baby because the fertility clinic she went to made a horrible error. The Ohio couple says that they will indeed have the baby and give the baby to their biological parents. The appeared on NBC’s The Today Show (see clip above).

According to Chicago Tribune, Forty-year-old Carolyn Savage of Sylvania is due to give birth within the next two weeks.
The Savages say a fertility clinic outside Ohio transferred the wrong frozen embryo in February. Hot Mess! They got a call ten days later from the doctor saying that she was preggers with another couple’s child. The Savages said in an interview with The Associated Press on Wednesday they never considered terminating the pregnancy or trying to fight for custody. (more…)

A Riverview man landed in jail after punishing his daughter. According to an arrest report, 34-year-old Jose Ajpacaja-Ajiataz beat his daughter with a belt, then shaved off her hair. Hillsborough deputies say Ajpacaja-Ajiataz was mad because his daughter took jewelry from Wal-Mart without paying for it and used a Game Boy without permission.The punishment allegedly started on Friday, when Ajpacaja-Ajiataz used the belt on his daughter. The next day, he shaved her hair off. The reports says Ajpacaja-Ajiataz admitted to the shaving, but denied that he hit the girl. (more…)

Two women in Los Angeles are cashing in with a business model that will get you “revenge” for a small fee! LOL! Alibis & Paybacks opened earlier this year, and has so far, served up revenge 20 times, The Los Angeles Times reported. Fees range from $35 to $250, depending how much revenge you’d like to serve. This is the real deal you guys! According to NBC New York, the business and its operatives then plaster scathing fliers all over a victim’s neighborhood. Public humiliation accomplished.

The operation was the brainchild of Adrienne Ferguson and Michelle Duke, the Times reported:

“People trust us. We’re like confidantes,” said Duke, 40, who lives with her husband and four children and works at a real estate office when she isn’t planning retribution. “Adrienne and I are both good at telling people how to deal with situations they’re in.” “So,” added Ferguson, a 38-year-old divorced mother of two, “instead of looking for a new job in this climate, I decided after I got laid off that we’d push this full-fledged.” (more…)

September 3, 2009: In an exclusive interview with ESSENCE.com, a freshman on the Clark Atlanta campus has said that students are buzzing about this morning’s shooting on campus, but many aren’t surprised by what happened.
“This is an educational facility,” said the student who chose to remain anonymous. “People don’t come here to get shot. I love this school, but I can’t say that I feel exactly safe here.” (more…)

I’ve been hearing the craziest stories on the news lately. The latest, a grumpy man shopping at Walmart asked a woman to shut her crying kid up. Well, since the woman couldn’t discipline her two year old child, the old man decided to do it himself . He picked the child up and slap her in the face a couple of times. Whoa! Now you know this wasn’t no latin or black woman, because I would have raised HELL up in that store if any strange person hit my baby. Check out the story here and let us know what you think!

A Gwinnett County man is in custody accused of slapping a stranger’s crying toddler in a Stone Mountain Wal-Mart on Monday. Sonya Mathews, the mother of the 2-year-old child, told police that both were walking in the aisles of the Rockbridge Road store when Roger Stephens, 61, approached and said “if you don’t shut that baby up, I will shut her up for you,” according to a police report.
