We always hear about rap battles and rappers dissing each other, but this time around a new stand-up comic beef is brewing. Katt Williams and Steve Harvey are going at it and we hear they will settle their beef in a head to head battle on New Year’s Eve in Detroit. The beef really started because Jamie Foxx instigated the whole thing on his Sirius Radio show “Foxxhole” on December 19th. Foxx played a clip of Katt Wiliams saying this about Steve Harvey:
First, Foxx plays a clip of Williams dissing Harvey. “I wanna apologize for what’s gonna happen,” Williams said of the joint comedy gig. “But the second that you get on stage, I need you to understand that that’s your final time as the ‘King of Comedy.’ Water seeks its own level, you can’t stop it playboy. It is what it is, so I hope you’re ready. I hope you got a team of writers. You gonna need about six or seven of ‘em….”
Steve Harvey then calls into the radio station and says that he is just blown by Katt Williams words:
“I’ve always been cool with Katt. He said in an interview that back in LA, I didn’t know who he was,” Harvey told Foxx and crew. “I mean understand, I didn’t know who he was when I was on the radio in LA. He hadn’t been in any movies or anything, and the brother was just not that known. He was talking about me in the clubs, and I just asked on the radio, whoever Katt Williams is, to call me. He called me, we straightened it out. We became friends. We’ve been cool ever since, so I thought.”

HOT OR NOT? (more…)
Jamie Foxx appeared on Big Boy’s Neighborhood and dissed Terrence Howard. Apparently, Terrence talked (badly) about Jamie Foxx’s new album on CNN recently. Here’s Foxx’s rebuttal.
Plies is released his third album, Da REAList, today, December 16, 2008, 6 months after the release of his second album. He is on the grind! The first official single off this album is “Put it On Ya”, featuring Chris J which is making its way up the Billboard charts!
Also in stores today is “Intuition”, the third studio album by actor and R&B singer Jamie Foxx. It is was released today, December 16, 2008 in the United States under J Records.
Jamie Foxx is back at it again with his new upcoming LP entitled “Intuition”. The album will hit the shelves on December 16th. T.I., Kanye West, the Dream, Ne-Yo, Timbaland and Floetry’s Marsha Ambrosius are among the guests on this project.
What makes Intuition different from his first album Unpredictable?
“‘Unpredictable’ was more, like, slow, bedroom things, which was great but when I went on the road we had all these ballads, so sometimes I had to work a little harder to keep people’s attention,” Foxx explains to Billboard.com. “With (’Intuition’), we’ve got all these legitimate club, international hits and the tempo is up. People hear this record and go absolutely nuts for it.” (more…)
Check out Jamie Foxx’s new video featuring T.I. for “Just Like Me”. Taraji P. Henson is his leading lady… Hot or NOT? You be the judge…leave us your comments!
Jamie Foxx graces the cover of Men’s Fitness magazine. Foxx, who is a former high-school quaterback, xposes the secrets and rigors of preparing for his physically challenging roles. “A while back, I did this tribute for Al Pacino,” he says in the issue. “Look back on his body of work and you see the different ways he’s changed. …I want people to look back on [my] body of work and say, ‘Wow, it’s like he morphed into different characters.” He looks pretty good on this cover…YESSIR!
