Is Janet Jackson’s career over!? After she cut ties with Def Jam, the pop star is still label-less. There were rumors circulating that Jackson got signed to Live Nation, the massive touring company, who signed deals with Madonna and and Jay-Z, but they are untrue. “We have not signed a deal with Janet, nor are we currently in discussions with the artist, says John Vlautin of Live Nation. So what’s next for Janet Jackson? We hear that she is linking up with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, whom she has worked with in the past on her 1997 album “The Velvet Rope”.

I’m sure all you 80’s babies remember Mijac’s Thriller! The 14-minute video of Michael Jackson’s song “Thriller” will be developed into a musical theater production with the full blessing of Michael Jackson himself. Titled “Thriller The Musical,” the effort will include songs from “Thriller” and Jackson’s 1979 album “Off The Wall.” Love that album!

Now we hear that Mijac is being suied by the person who co-wrote and directed the video in 1983. The suit was filed last week in L.A. Superior Court. John Landis, who filed the complaint, says in the suit “After a spectacular theatrical premiere, the ‘Thriller’ video became a worldwide megahit and an iconic pop culture phenomenon that has continued to generate profits for defendants Optimum Prods. and Michael Jackson, who have wrongfully refused to pay or account for such profits to plaintiff”. So we hear that Beyonce’s sister Solange has added her two cents in the controversy between Beyonce and Janet.  As Previously Reported earlier this week, Beyonce made an offensive statement about the Jacksons in a recent interview with Elle Magazine:  “We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons, but I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.”.

Supposedly, Solange came to her sister’s defense in a statement over the weekend that “My Sister ain’t scared of Janet”. Sources say she went on to add “All my sister did was tell the truth… she wasn’t trying to hurt nobody.”

I disagree with Solange (if the statement is true). I truly feel like what Beyonce said was offensive…Its really not like Beyonce to talk like that…

DANG! Thought we would start off the new year with no beefs…but it didn’t happen. We hear that Janet Jackson is really pissed off at Beyonce’s comments of her family in the latest issue of Elle Magazine. Beyonce tried to explain the difference between her road to success versus some black performers who were struck my economic struggles growing up. “I grew up upper class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar,” said Beyonce. “We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons, but I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.” WOW! That was pretty derogatory and offensive don’t you think?

I really need to dead this story and I will since Jermaine Dupri cleared the air (once again). I previously reported that Life & Style magazine recently featured Janet Jackson’s photo with the headline “Yes, I’m Pregnant” on it. Well Dupri has took it upon himself, using his OWN Blog to clear the rumors that his girlfriend is NOT with child.

Dupri wrote: “To all the Janet fans, As you all know Janet is a very private person. The only reason you see her, as much as you do on my YouTube vlog, is because of me lol. But I hear ya’ll and your questions. So hear [sic] you have it… No she is not pregnant and yes we’re still together.” “It baffles me how ya’ll let these blog and magazines control your lifes [sic]. That’s why I created global14.com so when ever hear s— about me you…can come right here and get the truth,” he added.

Welllll…you heard it from the midgets mouth! No she is not preggers! This rumor will be put to rest until I see Janet with a pop belly and in labor!

Celebrity Blogger Perez Hilton started the rumor that Janet Jackson was pregnant. Producer Jermaine Dupri says that his girlfriend Janet Jackson, 42, is not pregnant. Rumors that singer Janet Jackson is pregnant started after the singer cancelled a string of tour dates in October due to a “mystery illness.” When asked about the recent rumor, Jermaine Dupri said to Usmagazine recently that: “Does [blogger] Perez know that lying destroys the credibility of a blogger?” , implying that rumors about Janet being pregnant are lies. If you think you are gona catch one of Janet Jackson’s seven postponed tour stops on a future date, you will be very disappointed. Jackson has CANCELLED the remaining portion of her tour. Jackson’s tour organizer Live Nation has said she will not be making up the shows in Montreal; Boston; Philadelphia; Greensboro, North Carolina; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Uncasville, Connecticut; and Verona, New York she was forced to cancel last month, because of sudden onset migraine-associated vertigo. She did manage to perform makeup dates in New York City and Atlanta. No word yet on when fans will get their ticket refund.
