Is Janet Jackson’s career over!? After she cut ties with Def Jam, the pop star is still label-less. There were rumors circulating that Jackson got signed to Live Nation, the massive touring company, who signed deals with Madonna and and Jay-Z, but they are untrue. “We have not signed a deal with Janet, nor are we currently in discussions with the artist, says John Vlautin of Live Nation. So what’s next for Janet Jackson? We hear that she is linking up with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, whom she has worked with in the past on her 1997 album “The Velvet Rope”.

I’m sure all you 80’s babies remember Mijac’s Thriller! The 14-minute video of Michael Jackson’s song “Thriller” will be developed into a musical theater production with the full blessing of Michael Jackson himself. Titled “Thriller The Musical,” the effort will include songs from “Thriller” and Jackson’s 1979 album “Off The Wall.” Love that album!

Now we hear that Mijac is being suied by the person who co-wrote and directed the video in 1983. The suit was filed last week in L.A. Superior Court. John Landis, who filed the complaint, says in the suit “After a spectacular theatrical premiere, the ‘Thriller’ video became a worldwide megahit and an iconic pop culture phenomenon that has continued to generate profits for defendants Optimum Prods. and Michael Jackson, who have wrongfully refused to pay or account for such profits to plaintiff”.

In semi-related news, we hear that Janet Jackson has now had to cancel the Japanese leg of her Rock Witchu tour – this time due to the sinking global economy. As you may recall, the U.S. leg was shut down due to her bout of an alleged case of vertigo.

So we hear that Beyonce’s sister Solange has added her two cents in the controversy between Beyonce and Janet.  As Previously Reported earlier this week, Beyonce made an offensive statement about the Jacksons in a recent interview with Elle Magazine:  “We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons, but I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.”.

Supposedly, Solange came to her sister’s defense in a statement over the weekend that “My Sister ain’t scared of Janet”. Sources say she went on to add “All my sister did was tell the truth… she wasn’t trying to hurt nobody.”

I disagree with Solange (if the statement is true). I truly feel like what Beyonce said was offensive…Its really not like Beyonce to talk like that…

We hear that Janet Jackson is really pissed off at Beyonce’s comments of her family in the latest issue of Elle Magazine. Beyonce tried to explain the difference between her road to success versus some black performers who were struck my economic struggles growing up. “I grew up upper class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar,” said Beyonce. “We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons, but I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.” WOW! I really need to dead this story and I will since Jermaine Dupri cleared the air (once again). I previously reported that Life & Style magazine recently featured Janet Jackson’s photo with the headline “Yes, I’m Pregnant” on it. Well Dupri has took it upon himself, using his OWN Blog to clear the rumors that his girlfriend is NOT with child.

Dupri wrote: “To all the Janet fans, As you all know Janet is a very private person. The only reason you see her, as much as you do on my YouTube vlog, is because of me lol. But I hear ya’ll and your questions. So hear [sic] you have it… No she is not pregnant and yes we’re still together.” “It baffles me how ya’ll let these blog and magazines control your lifes [sic]. That’s why I created global14.com so when ever hear s— about me you…can come right here and get the truth,” he added.

Welllll…you heard it from the midgets mouth! No she is not preggers! This rumor will be put to rest until I see Janet with a pop belly and in labor!

The new issue of Life & Style is confirming rumors that the pop star canceled her tour because she is pregnant and expecting a baby with her boyfriend Jermaine Dupri. If this is true, this would be J.D’s second child and Janet Jackson’s first child (well sort of). As you may recall, there have been unconfirmed rumors for years that Janet Jackson had a secret love child with her former husband James Debarge. Doubt it!

Celebrity Blogger Perez Hilton started the rumor that Janet Jackson was pregnant. Producer Jermaine Dupri says that his girlfriend Janet Jackson, 42, is not pregnant. Rumors that singer Janet Jackson is pregnant started after the singer cancelled a string of tour dates in October due to a “mystery illness.” When asked about the recent rumor, Jermaine Dupri said to Usmagazine recently that: “Does [blogger] Perez know that lying destroys the credibility of a blogger?” , implying that rumors about Janet being pregnant are lies.

Janet Jackson has said that she will one day like to have kids: “I’d love to have children,” the singer has told Us. “It’s just up to Jermaine, what he wants to do.”

Last week the Grand Opening of Atlantis, The Palm took place at the Palm Jumeirah Island in Palm Jumeirah Island in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Janet Jackson and her beau, Jermaine Dupri attended.

If you think you are gona catch one of Janet Jackson’s seven postponed tour stops on a future date, you will be very disappointed. Jackson has CANCELLED the remaining portion of her tour. Jackson’s tour organizer Live Nation has said she will not be making up the shows in Montreal; Boston; Philadelphia; Greensboro, North Carolina; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Uncasville, Connecticut; and Verona, New York she was forced to cancel last month, because of sudden onset migraine-associated vertigo. She did manage to perform makeup dates in New York City and Atlanta. No word yet on when fans will get their ticket refund.

Janet Jackson isn’t doing ot well with this Rock Witchu tour. LL Cool J has decided to pull out as her opening act. The rapper’s publicity firm announced Monday that he has dropped out as the headliner for Jackson because of unnamed scheduling conflicts. No opening act replacement has been announced. Jackson’s upcoming shows are Tuesday in Auburn Hills, Mich., and Saturday in New York. She is expected to announce more dates.

The mysterious illness that has been plaguing singer Janet Jackson and has caused her to cancel a string of tour dates has been revealed to be migraines, People magazine is reporting. According to People, the 42-year-old singer has been suffering from vestibular migraines, an rare condition that causes vertigo. In a statement obtained by People, manager Kenneth Cread said Jackson is “feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again.”

“(Jackson) is a world-class entertainer and needs to be at the top of her game to give her fans what they expect,” Cread said. The singer is scheduled to resume her Rock Witchu Tour Wednesday night in Washington D.C. Other tour dates that have been postponed will reportedly be rescheduled, People said.

Somebody made a comment on Life & Style saying that Janet Jackson may not have been sick after all. “She might not be ill, from what people around her are saying. She might just be shocked by the small fan turnout. By canceling shows, she doesn’t have to face half-empty arenas,” a spy said from Life & Style.

Well, well, well. Last week I reported that Janet Jackson’s brother Randy said that the reason why Janet Jackson was hospitalized during her Rock Witchu Tour was because the star was suffering from vertigo. Soooo, today I get a contrary report saying that the interview with Randy Jackson never happened. The nature of Janet’s illness has yet to be disclosed One Way Publicity Firm says. “Randy has not and will not speak publicly about the health of his sister, or her reasons for canceling any of her shows. This ‘interview’ never happened”, a rep from One Way firm said via email. Hmmmm…so what is going on with Janet? Are the possible baby rumors true?

Janet Jackson isn’t doing to well. She has postponed three more tour dates due to her illness…Her publicist said in an e-mail late Saturday that Jackson was postponing a Saturday show in Greensboro, N.C., one on Sunday in Atlanta and a third on Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale, reports the Associated Press. On Saturday, her publicist would only say she is “recuperating” and will return home, at her doctor’s direction, for further treatment. Dang! GET WELL MAMA!

We hear that Janet Jackson got sick during her tour stop in Montreal, Canada for her Rock Witchu Tour. An ambulance rushed Jackson to the nearest hospital around 6:30p last night, but nobody has told us what the cause of her illness was. Her publicist made an “official statement” late last night saying

“Janet had been hospitalized after falling ill shortly before the concert. She “got suddenly ill” during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time.” The statement also said that Jackson was being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about her condition.

Jackson is out of the hospital now, but no word as to if she is performing at her next stop tonight.

Jermaine Dupri got so drunk at his 36th-birthday party at Tenjune that he threw up in girlfriend Janet Jackson’s lap. People who attended the party said that the couple shared bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne and Patrón tequila with Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes and Ice-T. Shortly after, JD vomited on Janet’s lap. Ms. Jackson bolted out of the scene and sped off in her chauffeured Maybach. JD ended up leaving immediately after. LOL!

Janet Jackson has decided to sever ties with Def Jam Records after releasing just one album under the label.

Janet did not release an official statement, but Producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins  made the announcement of Janet’s exit from Def Jam in a vlog on Rap-Up.com today (September 22).

According to Jerkins, Janet had been feuding with the label and wasn’t happy with  the promotion of her latest album , Discipline.

“We didn’t get the support from the record company,” said Jerkins.  “[Janet] felt like it wasn’t pushed.  I felt like it wasn’t pushed correctly.  She just didn’t get her just-do as an artist of that magnitude.”

Janet signed to Island Def Jam in 2007 and released Discipline in February 2008.
