Janet Jackson isn’t doing ot well with this Rock Witchu tour. LL Cool J has decided to pull out as her opening act. The rapper’s publicity firm announced Monday that he has dropped out as the headliner for Jackson because of unnamed scheduling conflicts. No opening act replacement has been announced. Jackson’s upcoming shows are Tuesday in Auburn Hills, Mich., and Saturday in New York. She is expected to announce more dates.

The mysterious illness that has been plaguing singer Janet Jackson and has caused her to cancel a string of tour dates has been revealed to be migraines, People magazine is reporting. According to People, the 42-year-old singer has been suffering from vestibular migraines, an rare condition that causes vertigo. In a statement obtained by People, manager Kenneth Cread said Jackson is “feeling much better and is ready to hit the road again.” (more…)

Guess who’s bizzack! Janet Janet says she is returning on stage for her Rock Witchu tour stop beginning Saturday, October 11, in Uncasville, CT.

Somebody made a comment on Life & Style saying that Janet Jackson may not have been sick after all. “She might not be ill, from what people around her are saying. She might just be shocked by the small fan turnout. By canceling shows, she doesn’t have to face half-empty arenas,” a spy said from Life & Style.

Hmmmm. Interesting? Did any of my readers go see her Rock Witchu Tour…if so, did it seem like there weren’t alot of fans there? Let us know what happened at her tour stop in your state!

Well, well, well. Last week I reported that Janet Jackson’s brother Randy said that the reason why Janet Jackson was hospitalized during her Rock Witchu Tour was because the star was suffering from vertigo. Soooo, today I get a contrary report saying that the interview with Randy Jackson never happened. The nature of Janet’s illness has yet to be disclosed One Way Publicity Firm says. “Randy has not and will not speak publicly about the health of his sister, or her reasons for canceling any of her shows. Janet Jackson isn’t doing to well. She has postponed three more tour dates due to her illness…Her publicist said in an e-mail late Saturday that Jackson was postponing a Saturday show in Greensboro, N.C., one on Sunday in Atlanta and a third on Tuesday in Fort Lauderdale, reports the Associated Press. On Saturday, her publicist would only say she is “recuperating” and will return home, at her doctor’s direction, for further treatment. Dang! GET WELL MAMA!

We hear that Janet Jackson got sick during her tour stop in Montreal, Canada for her Rock Witchu Tour. An ambulance rushed Jackson to the nearest hospital around 6:30p last night, but nobody has told us what the cause of her illness was. Her publicist made an “official statement” late last night saying

“Janet had been hospitalized after falling ill shortly before the concert. She “got suddenly ill” during her sound check and had to be rushed to the hospital just before show time.” The statement also said that Jackson was being monitored at the hospital and hopes to reschedule the show. Jermaine Dupri got so drunk at his 36th-birthday party at Tenjune that he threw up in girlfriend Janet Jackson’s lap. People who attended the party said that the couple shared bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne and Patrón tequila with Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes and Ice-T. Shortly after, JD vomited on Janet’s lap. Ms. Jackson bolted out of the scene and sped off in her chauffeured Maybach. JD ended up leaving immediately after. LOL! (more…)

Janet Jackson has decided to sever ties with Def Jam Records after releasing just one album under the label.

Janet did not release an official statement, but Producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins  made the announcement of Janet’s exit from Def Jam in a vlog on Rap-Up.com today (September 22).
 
According to Jerkins, Janet had been feuding with the label and wasn’t happy with  the promotion of her latest album , Discipline.
 
“We didn’t get the support from the record company,” said Jerkins.  “[Janet] felt like it wasn’t pushed.  I felt like it wasn’t pushed correctly.  She just didn’t get her just-do as an artist of that magnitude.” (more…)
