Jay-Z will be on a small five city tour this November in support of his upcoming LP, American Gangster. The album, which is inspired by the upcoming Denzel Washington film of the same name, is due in stores November 6.

The five scheduled dates are as follows:

11/6 Los Angeles – The House of Blues
11/7 Chicago – The House of Blues
11/9 Baltimore – Ramshead Live
11/11 New York – The Hammerstein Ballroom
11/12 Philadelphia – The Fillmore

releasing a promotional mixtape
that pays homage to “Reasonable
Doubt”, the seminal album from

“Roc Boys” is said to be the second single off Jay-Z’s concept album American Gangster. The track was produced by Diddy, who contributed four other songs to the album. American Gangster hits store shelves on November 6th. Some music execs have made statements saying that this album isn’t Jay-Z’s best work. Let me know your thoughts.

Joe Budden was released by Def Jam Records and says he is now looking forward to the future at another label. “I’m just happy we were finally able to cut all ties. Christopher Harris, an off duty Correction Academy cadet, was stabbed in the eye at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club in New York City on the morning of September 29th. According to The New York Post, the victim, 26, was rushed to St. Vincent’s Hospital where he was treated for face lacerations after being attacked by Neville Dangou, 30. (more…)
