Fat Joe issued a one line statement regarding the rumor that he and Jay-Z are beefing as reported in Miss Xpose’s scoop last week…“I have no beef whatsoever with Jay-Z. In fact, we share a common goal…helping to get Barack Obama elected on Nov. 4th.”

The rumors are running WILD on the internet that Jay-Z dropped a record dissing Fat Joe and DJ Khaled. The minute I heard the rumor, I knew it was fake, because ONE, Jay-Z is way to grown and got to many other things poppin’ to be putting out diss records now, and TWO why would he diss Fat Joe and DJ Khaled out of all people…Anywho, DJ Kay Slay played the record which features Uncle Murda and Jay-Z on Hot 97 recently. According to Miss Info, the record is WAY OLD and someone apparently is trying to stir up some unnecessary beef! Jay-Z himself said he is not wasting anytime clearing up the bufoonery either. The track is like 5-6 years old!

Jay-Z says “THAT’S A FREESTYLE OFF A MIXTAPE FROM AROUND 5 YEARS AGO. MIGHT HAVE BEEN AROUND THE TIME OF S.CARTER [The sneaker and mixtape]. AND DJ KHALED WAS NOT ADDRESSED IN THE VERSE AT ALL”

Even Jay-Z producer friend, Just Blaze, had to clarify the confusion, saying “So for some reason people think this “new” Jay/Uncle Murda thing is a Fat Joe Khaled dis. It’s not. It’s also like 8000 years old and somehow dude got his hands on it and put a verse on it. Now that I recall, it’s Blueprint 2 era..I was going to use this verse for the S.Carter Remix CD but we couldn’t get the Pro Tools in time. Don’t fall for the okeydoke.”

After announcing that their would be an additional Barack Obama fundraiser concert in Miami yesterday afternoon, Jay-Z left thousands of fans disappointed after the hip hop mogul cancelled the concert at the Bayfront Park Amphitheatre on Monday.

“The whole concert has had to be cancelled because it was Jay-Z who pulled out,” a Bayfront park official said. “We haven’t been told why, but I’m sure all the fans will want an explanation.” (more…)

Beyonce needs to be prepared to get knocked up soon because her husband claims he wants kids. Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter XPOSED at a press conference at the U.N. Due to widespread enthusiasm and support for Obama’s Campaign for Change voter registration efforts in Florida, seven-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist Jay-Z has added an additional “Last Chance for Change” voter registration rally and concert in Miami for Monday, Oct. 6 – the deadline to register to vote in Florida.

In addition to the Oct. 5, Sunday night event, Jay-Z will perform for thousands of voters – for free – at Miami’s Bayfront Park Amphitheater on Monday afternoon as well. He will promote voter registration and encourage young people to get involved in making history by electing Barack Obama. Multi-platinum recording artist Wyclef Jean will also perform Sunday night.

Ticket distribution for Monday’s event will be released later today.

Rapper Jay-Z is said to have chosen Dec. 2 as the release date for his new CD “The Blueprint 3,” the last in a trilogy of albums that began in 2001. As previously reported this morning, Jay-Z will be doing two free concerts this weekend for the “Last Chance for Change” Voter Registration Rally! Saturday Hova will be in Detroit and Sunday he will be in my homestate Miami!

Hip-hop star JAY-Z is lending his support to U.S. presidential candidate BARACK OBAMA by holding two free concerts in his honour. Shawn Carter hopes to encourage young people to vote for the Democrat at the upcoming November (08) elections. The free shows will take place in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday (04Oct08) and in Miami, Florida on Sunday (05Oct08). Tickets will be distributed through Obama’s local campaign offices, according to Allhiphop.com.Obama recently praised the modern generation of hip-hop stars – insisting stars such as Jay-Z and Kanye West are real businessmen, not just musicians. WOW! HI HATER! 50 Cent is a true hater in my book. Check out this recent interview wherein he weighs in on Jay-Z’s success:

“I’m a big fan of Jay-Z, but outside of the States and hip-hop circles, no one really knew who he was until he married Beyonce”. The G-Unit rapper has also disputed reports that Jay-Z is worth an estimated $1 billion, but is adamant he’s not jealous of his fortune. He adds, “I don’t believe he’s worth that much! It’s all been exaggerated. I’m comfortable. I don’t want for anything so I’m not in a race.”

Lil Wayne leads the BET Hip Hop Award nominations this year. The New Orleans rapper leads the way with 12 nominations for the 2008 BET Hip-Hop Awards, the network announced this week. Weezy is nominated for Lyricist of the Year, Best Video (”Lollipop”), and MVP of the Year, among others. Go ahead boy! Kanye West and Jay-Z didn’t do to bad themselves.
