We hear its a wrap for Jermaine Dupri. He has been handed the pink slip and has been terminated from his postion as President of Island Def Jam. I’m still waiting to get the official statement, but rumor has it that a formal announcement of his departure from the position, which he has held for nearly two years, may come as early as Thursday (Jan 8)…which is today! I really need to dead this story and I will since Jermaine Dupri cleared the air (once again). I previously reported that Life & Style magazine recently featured Janet Jackson’s photo with the headline “Yes, I’m Pregnant” on it. Well Dupri has took it upon himself, using his OWN Blog to clear the rumors that his girlfriend is NOT with child.

Dupri wrote: “To all the Janet fans, As you all know Janet is a very private person. The only reason you see her, as much as you do on my YouTube vlog, is because of me lol. But I hear ya’ll and your questions. So hear [sic] you have it… No she is not pregnant and yes we’re still together.” “It baffles me how ya’ll let these blog and magazines control your lifes [sic]. That’s why I created global14.com so when ever hear s— about me you…can come right here and get the truth,” he added.

Welllll…you heard it from the midgets mouth! No she is not preggers! This rumor will be put to rest until I see Janet with a pop belly and in labor!

Jermaine Dupri got so drunk at his 36th-birthday party at Tenjune that he threw up in girlfriend Janet Jackson’s lap. People who attended the party said that the couple shared bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne and Patrón tequila with Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes and Ice-T. Shortly after, JD vomited on Janet’s lap. Ms. Jackson bolted out of the scene and sped off in her chauffeured Maybach. JD ended up leaving immediately after. LOL! (more…)

So So Def mogul Jermaine Dupri is facing a $250,000 defamation lawsuit over a private phone call included on Daz Dillinger’s 2006 album So So Gangsta. The lawsuit, filed by a woman named Aika Kendrick, alleges that Daz and Dupri recorded a personal phone conversation which they then used as a backdrop for the song “The One,” which features Jagged Edge and details the difficulty of leaving an emotionally abusive relationship. During So So Def weekend in Atlanta, gunfire erupted at a club in Atlanta. Jermaine Dupri was hosting a fabolous party at Dreamz in ATL attended by celeb friends Usher, Nelly and Sean “Diddy” Combs and more . Around 3:30 a.m. shots were fired after some guests were allegedly double-charged by security guards to enter, DeKalb County police spokesman Marcus Hodge tells WSBTV. A security guard was reportedly wounded.

“I’m sad this incident happened because it interrupted a beautiful and loving party. But I’m happy none of my people or friends got hurt. And the party continues,” Dupri said in a statement. (more…)
