Keyshia Cole xposed her rise to fame on 2005’s “The Way It Is” and 2007’s “Just Like You” , but now Keyshia Cole is showing you another side with “A Different Me,” due Dec. 16 via Imani Geffen Interscope. “The first two albums were more … painful,” she tells Billboard over lunch in Los Angeles. “It’s a different me this time: a young woman who’s still growing and finding myself, exploring life through different routes musically and in other areas. I wrote more about other people’s situations than my own. I’m moving forward.” “A Different Me” features collaborations with some key people in the industry including Polow Da Don, the Runners, Neffu, Kwame, Orthodox & Ransom and the Trackmasters. On her previous albums, Cole worked with such songwriter producers as Greg Curtis, Missy Elliott, Scott Storch, Bryan-Michael Cox, Rodney Jerkins and Sean Garrett. (more…)

The two later left in a fly a$$ Rolls Royce Phantom drop top and drove away leaving everyone questioning…Is this the new man in her life???…Sandra Rose, a fellow blogger, said she contacted Keyshia’s camp and nobody denied the rumor. Fifteen of the hottest female vocalists in the game will be joining voices in a charity tune called “Just Stand Up”. The song features Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood. WOW!
The song will be revealed on September 2 on iTunes. All proceeds will benefit cancer research. The idea of the song was created by Antonio “L.A.” Reid, who produced it with longtime creative colleague Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. (more…)

Hip Hop Grows Up, Inc., a non-profit organization guiding youth development, has linked up with Daz Dillinger’s mother and Keyshia Cole’s adopted mother. Both mothers (Dr. Allean Varnado and Dr. Yvonne Cole) are evangelists who minister to children/teens around the country. The main goal of the collaboration is to help youth better prioritize images and words they receive from entertainment, and to greatly enhance the self-esteem within youth. “As an educator, evangelist, singer/songwriter, I am delighted to be a part of Hip Hop Grows Up, Inc. I want to see first above all things, [that] Hip Hop Grows Up Inc, train youth to put God first and His word first and make sure that they know, you want to be able to grow up spiritually and educationally,” Dr. Varnado explained.
