Lil Wayne has teamed up with this band member T-Pain, Akon and Keyshia Cole for the Reggae Sumfest in Jamaica! Akon will even share the stage with Keyshia Cole and reggae’s Richie Spice and Terry Linen today, Friday (July 18th) for their International Night. Lil wayne and T-Pain (AKA T-Wayne) will perform on the last day of the event (July 19th). Other acts include performances by Beenie Man, Elephant Man, Bounty Killer, Wayne Marshall, and many more. Lil Wayne will be dropping the long anticipated “Tha Carter III”, which is set to drop on June 10th. He also has plans to go on a big tour. At first his plans were to tour with 50 Cent and the G-Unit gang, but he has changed his mind. “Um, that one, I don’t think is gonna work no more, It was something that ain’t went right.” Lil Wayne said, speaking about the tour with G-Unit. Wayne told MTV News that “I think I might go out with Keyshia Cole. You’re bringing two different types of people in there. You got people coming to soothe their souls with Keyshia, and you got people who wanna throw their hands up with me. It’s like listening to the radio. I think a concert should be like listening to the radio. When you listen to the radio, and your top-five or top-eight songs come on, it’s hip-hop, it’s R&B. … I think you gonna get that from me and Keyshia and whatever in between that.” I think it would be a good look? BET has introduced a whole list of new programming for 2008 and 09. The lineup includes Carmelo Anthony reality show, ‘106 & Gospel’ and new ‘Keyshia Cole’ season. The networks new sloagan is “Connection You Can Feel!”…
