Lil Kim talks about T-Pain’s injuries.

Uh Oh! Lil Kim and David Alan Grier may be having fun on “Dancing with the Stars”, but one thing they won’t be dancing to is the sound of their deliquent taxes! News reports reveal that Lil Kim owes $979,090 in delinquent federal taxes, as well as state taxes in New York, California and New Jersey. This is too funny. Recently, BET correspondent Clay Cane had an interview with Lil Kim via telephone from L.A. about her new role on Dancing With the Stars, hip hop and more. The interview went well (besides the fact she was an hour late) until Mr. Cane asked her about her plastic surgeries which many of her fans want to know more about. From the nose job to the fake butt implants, people want to know why Lil Kim did it! So do I!  So when Cane asked her the big question, well…you’ll see what happened.

Here’s a lil bit of the interview:
You’ve previously said you were a fan of “Dancing With The Stars” because you saw it while you were incarcerated.  How did you make it on the actual show?

It’s really funny, maybe a couple years ago they called for me to do it, but my life was crazy a couple years ago.  It just didn’t fit in with the scheduling and all of that.  The opportunity came back around again, they called and I was so excited.  I couldn’t believe I got this second chance and opportunity. 

Do you still identify as hip-hop or do you feel like you’ve transcended that category or label?

I feel like I have a really great opportunity of balancing the two. I love both of them. It’s not an abandon type of thing so I feel like I have a great opportunity of balancing them both. 

This was a big controversy a couple months ago.  People are wondering if you have gotten a chance to see “Notorious” yet and what did you think of it?

I don’t really want to talk about that right now, but at the end of the day everybody knows I’m very unhappy with it.  I was never asked to be involved.  The girl that played me never tried to reach out.  Everybody knows my feelings on it.  I stand totally against the movie. The movie to me and to a lot of people who was around in that era is a lot of false things.

Let me ask you this Kim, this is a big question that we get from everybody and you can decide if you don’t want to answer it or not.  There is a perception in the African-American community that Lil’ Kim didn’t like the way she looked as a Black woman so she got plastic surgery to make herself look less Black.  What’s your reaction—

Yesterday the cast of next season’s Dancing With the Stars was revealed. I couldn’t believe my ears when I heard that Miss Lil Kim will be a part of the popular show! Yes, Queen B Lil Kim…This shall be interesting!

Dancing with the Stars used a new approach by announcing the cast one by one during ABC’s primetime lineup last night… which was during the Grammy airtime. Wierd right? They usually reveal the cast on Good Morning America…but whatever!

As previously reported, Lil Kim has expressed how she dislikes the way she was potrayed in the “Notorious” biopic that premiered last month. Well now Diddy, who was the assisting executive producer of this movie, seems to be on Lil Kim’s side. Diddy says in his own blog:

“Kim hit me and she’s like, ‘Puff, imagine how I feel’ you know what I’m saying and I gotta say that what you saw in the movie about Kim, that’s not like the real Kimberly Jones,” Diddy said in a video. “The only thing I can say about the movie that you may have got that was really great from their relationship was [Biggie Smalls] really respected her as an artist, as an emcee and was into her like that. All the extra stuff, you know, it’s a movie and Kim will have her chance. Her own movie will come out there, so yo, give Kim her chance. Don’t believe what you saw in the movie.”

As you may have heard. Lil Kim plans on coming out with her own biopic movie. Will you go see it?

Lil Kim says she did not post a blog on her Facebook page about Naturi Naughton who potrayed her in the recent Notorious biopic. As reported yesterday, Lil Kim allegedly said that Naturi’s acting was  “tasteless and talentless”. Well, her attorney said those comments did not come from Lil Kim. Someone supposedly hacked her Facebook Page.

“The statement posted up on Facebook was done by someone falsely portraying themselves to be Lil Kim and is completely untrue. They have been contacted to remove immediately or legal action will be taken,” says attorney for Lil Kim, Bernard H. Jackson III. (more…)

So we hear from Necole Bitchie that Lil Kim finally got to see the movie Notorious, even though she said she wanted nothing to do with going to see the biopic. Of course she is still unhappy as to how she was potrayed in the movie. According to a note on her facebook page, Lil Kim pens:

I feel like I was not portrayed how I should have been in this movie. I was in love with BIG and he was in love with me. I was never a JUMP-OFF, I know this and BIG knew this. I wasn’t even able to choose who I wanted to portray me in this movie. I would have never picked Naturi, she doesn’t have a Lil Kim aura at all! She looks nothing like I looked back then. We have NO similarities. Watching her on-screen was so “dreadful” as Simon Cowell would say. She is tasteless and talentless. Never once did she contact me for input or to get a feel of me for the character. A “TRUE” actress would contact the source to be the best they can be in portaying someone. That told me right there, she wasn’t right for the part and not to mention, Naturi has got to be one of THE worst actresses I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe they chose her. I really can’t! (more…)

We hear that Lil Kim is extremely unhappy about the new Biggie Biopic (Notorius) and the casting for the film. She said during an interview with Hip Hop Weekly that was unhappy that producers picked Naturi Naughton of 3LW fame to play her. It was also speculated that Kim felt her relationship with B.I.G. was sensationalized. She’s blaming Big’s mother, Ms. Wallace, and wife, Faith Evans, for their involvement. Check out an excerpt from the interview Lil Kim had with Hip Hop Weekly (HHW):

HHW: What are your thoughts on the Biggie movie?

LK: I want the world to be clear; I have NOTHING to do with that movie. That movie is Faith and Ms. Wallace’s story. Most of the story is bullshit especially the way my character is being depicted. There are a lot of lies in the movie. I had no idea it was even going into production, until one day I got a call from my manager at the time, Lance “Un” Riviera, and he said ” Yo! You know they caste this girl Naturi [Naughton] to play you in the Biggie movie,” I was outraged. I was upset, because to me, to do an autobiography about someone’s life, you want it to be as authentic as possible. I was not involved in the movie. They never came and asked me anything about Biggie, but again this was Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie.

HHW: So it’s safe to say you didn’t approve of the casting?

LK: I couldn’t believe it. I was outraged. (more…)
