After Lil Weezy’s arrest in Idaho recently, his attorney released a statment claiming it was a mere misunderstanding. According to Wayne’s attorney, William Head, however, the situation was merely a misunderstanding. “When someone’s this successful, there are chances things will fall through the cracks,” Head tells Atlanta’s Fox Channel 5. “They were under the impression that those charges had either been resolved or dismissed.” (more…)

Boise City Police arrested Lil’ Wayne Saturday morning, following a concert date he had in Boise’s Qwest Arena. Weezy was wanted on a felony drugs possession charge in Georgia. A fugitive warrant was issued for his arrest, and Boise City Police officers took him into custody after his concert. Boise police Lt. Doug Doney told reporters the department received information that Wayne was wanted.

Lil’ Wayne and Fabolous will headline a concert tonight (Oct. 1) in Gainsville, FL to raise awareness about the issues surrounding drunk driving. According to the Independent Florida Alligator, a portion of the proceeds from the show will benefit the Corey Dahlem Benevolent Fund, which was established after Gainesville police Lt. Corey Dahlem was killed at the hands of a drunk driver. (more…)

Lil’ Wayne announced the return of the original Hot Boy$ group featuring Juvenile, Lil’ Wayne, Turk and B.G. The group’s last release was in 2003. The former group  have battled each other on and off record over the past several years. Lil’ Wayne is the only member of the group signed to Cash Money Records. No official announcement on the return of the group has been made by Cash Money.
