Luke “Uncle Luke” Campbell was arrested yesterday for failing to pay child support. He owes more than $10,000 in back pay for his 3 year child, Brooklyn. The rapper will only be released from prison when he pays the full amount due in child support to his baby mother, Shakera Morgan. Morgan also has a paternity case against Uncle Luke.

According to the305.com, Lacresha, Luke’s 18 year-old daughter, opened up in a very comedic tone about her father’s recent arrest and tells DJ Laz on Power 96 this morning.

“Daddy didn’t pay child support, so Daddy has to go to jail. He owes money for his baby daughter Brooklyn and he’s not getting out until he pays it. It all basically caught up to him. He went to file some paperwork in court yesterday and they ended up arresting him” (source the305.com) (more…)

Uncle Luke, aka Luke Campbell, tied the knot in Dallas recently. The star of the upcoming VH1 series “Luke’s Parental Advisory” married his fiancee Kristin Thompson Saturday in Dallas at the Saint Luke Community Methodist Church. Luke said he waited a long time for this special day. “I waited 47 years to find a special woman and have found that in Kristin,” Campbell tells People.com. “I never knew that I could feel love on another level like this until I met her, and I am now honored to call her my wife.” AWWWWWW (tears). 300 guests were invited and partied hard at the reception at Opus Grand Ballroom at Hotel Palomar. Doug E. Fresh was the DJ of the night. Their first dance was to Brian McKnight’s “Back at One”…(tears). Luke fiancee is general counsel for Campbell’s company Luke Entertainment. (more…)

Luther Campbell has a new reality show on VH1 titled Parental Advisory. The show is set to debut in July 2008. The series will follow Campbell as he balances life with his children and fiancée, spends time at the office producing various adult themed content and traveling the country with beautiful women as “Uncle Luke” Campbell. Hip-Hop legend Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell is organizing the 3rd Annual Battle of the Stars Celebrity Football Tournament, which will be held next year in his hometown of Miami, FL. “I would like to see all these rappers and entertainers who claim to be football coaches, who claim to run football leagues either put up or shut up,” Campbell said. “This is a week long tournament, rather than just a game. It is a true tournament of  Champions.”
