Is Mariah Carey a Diva? Diva in the bad sense of the word. Well we hear that Mariah Carey was very upset that she was not asked to be seated alongside the First Family during the Inauguration last week. Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon were seated in the VIP section where all the other celebs were seated, but Page Six reports that Mariah was furious at the fact that she was not placed next to Aretha Franklin who was seated on the stage area. The reason why Aretha Franklin was sitting next to the Obama family is because she sang at the actual Inauguration. Carey sang later that night at the Neighborhood Ball. Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon said they waited until their wedding to have sex for the first time. Well, that answers the question as to why they got married so quick! LMAO! “It’s not that we had no intimacy, we just didn’t have complete intimacy,” Mariah tells Britain’s Daily Mirror. “…We both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married.” “And it was, and it still is,” she added. As you may recall, Mariah and Nick dated for only two months before they got hitched last Spring. Still can’t believe their together, I thought this would last only several days! I’m happy for them!

Mariah Carey threw a huge birthday party for her husband Nick Cannon’s 28th birthday at Pure in Las Vagas a couple of days ago. To be honest, I didn’t think their marriage would last this long…I was still in denial, but they actually make a cute couple…What do you think?

Superstar songstress Mariah Carey has sent a cease-and-desist order to famed music producer and former confidant Damion ‘Damizza’ Young, attempting to block the release of his tell-all memoir “Guilty By Association.” Damizza alleges that he had an intimate four year relationship with Carey that both parties diligently worked to keep hidden from the press. According to the New York Post, Carey’s lawyer Sonya Guardo has issued a letter to Young, citing his confidentiality agreement and advising him to steer clear of releasing private details about Carey in the book.

Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Leona Lewis, LeAnn Rimes and Carrie Underwood. WOW!

The song will be revealed on September 2 on iTunes. All proceeds will benefit cancer research. The idea of the song was created by Antonio “L.A.” Reid, who produced it with longtime creative colleague Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. (more…)
