Turks and Caicos Prime Minister Michael Misick confirmed he will step down as leader at the end of March, citing a lack of support for his scandal-plagued government. Misick, the soon-to-be ex-husband of actress LisaRaye McCoy, was investigated for sexual assault in April after a woman accused him of rape. Also, he and and LisaRaye had a very public violent altercation which lead to his upcoming divorce. I would step down too!

As previously reported, LisaRaye McCoy-Misick and Premier Michael Misick have separated and have confirmed that they are seeking divorce. Essence got their hands on never before seen pictures of LisaRaye’s injuries after she and her husband, Premier Misick, got into a violent altercation upon her arrival back to their mansion in Turks & Caicos. Essence.com reports that on August 14, 2008, McCoy-Misick was taken to the island’s police department by her publicist, Lynn Jeter of Lynn Allen Jeter and Associates, and her personal bodyguard and cousin, Phillip Travis. (more…)

LisaRaye’s publicist, Lynn Allen Jeter, has been working overtime to clear up all the “he say and she say” followed by the fight between her client and husband Premier Michael Misick.

Jeter tells EUR that she wasn’t there to witness the alleged “fight” and denied that a “fight” even took place between LisaRaye and Misick.

       “There was no pushing, there was no slugging, there was no swinging of arms, there was no tussle, nothing like that,” says Jeter.       

   Jeter says this is what really went down:

  “Her personal security (Travis) was driving, [LisaRaye] was in the back seat, I was in the passenger side of the jeep,” Jeter begins. “We pulled up to her home. We had been to the grocery store. She’d bought food to make tacos. So we had groceries in the back of the car.       

       “We got up to the house, the guards spoke to her and then proceeded to pick up the phone. [LisaRaye] said, ‘Oh you don’t have to pick up the phone to announce me.’ But he proceeded to do so and closed the door to the guard shack with LisaRaye standing there. …He caught her between the door and him. Her security (Travis) then got out of the car and pulled the door so [the guard] would not hurt her.”     (more…)

Turks and Caicos Island spies have revealed that LisaRaye is (still) in the hospital after an altercation between her and her husband, Premeir Misick, broke out at their mansion earlier this week. “He beat her bad,” a source told fellow blog EUR. “She came in the same day Rocsi went out, and he had already issued the statement that they were separated. Apparently she went over there and got into the fight. She’s now in the hospital.”  (more…)

The plot thickens. LisaRaye and her soon to be ex-hubby Premier Michael Misick bothh filed a police report against eachother. According to Carribean Net News, a physical fight went down in front of government officials between LisaRaye and Misick.

A rep for Misick released a statement Thursday denying that he assaulted his wife, and accusing LisaRaye, her cousin and her publicist of initiating the drama. LOL!

“Last night LisaRaye, her cousin Phillip Travis, and her publicist Lynn Jeter assaulted the guard at the Premier’s home, proceeded to ransack the house, and then assaulted the Premier and his sister,” read the statement. “

As the result of her assault on them, both the Premier and his sister were taken to the hospital with injuries and later released. The Premier at no time had any physical contact with LisaRaye. (more…)

It’s official, LisaRaye and her husband, Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick, announced their intention to file for divorce. In a statement, Premier Misick says:

“I am announcing that I am separated from LisaRaye McCoy-Misick. I am committed to dissolving the marriage amicably. I believe that this is a private matter and will have no further comments. I hope that our privacy will be respected.”

As previously reported, LisaRaye just went back to their mansion on the island after spending time in New York to try to patch things up after rumors revealed that he was cheating on her with Rocsi of BET’s 106&Park. The marriage has been plagued with ongoing rumors on Misick’s infidenlity and lies. (more…)

Despite the ongoing reports that LisaRaye is divorcing her husband, Michael Misick, Premier of Turks and Caicos, the actress says she has moved back into the mansion they share on the island.

As previously reported, a rep for the actress released a statement suggesting that Misick has been cheating with Rocsi from BET’s “106 & Park”. The two were spotted cuddling at a recent music event on the island while LisaRaye was visiting the U.S. Rocsi reportedly even spent the weekend at the couple’s house as a “guest”. We heard that LisaRaye was furious about Rocsi spending the weekend with her husband, sooo…I guess she went back to the island to “get back her man”! (more…)

WOW! Check out this juicy bit of gossip. A rep for actress Lisa Raye released an official statement saying that Lisa’s husband, Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick, is messing around with BET 106 & Park Rocsi!

I kid you not! The publicity firm, Lynn Allen Jeter & Associates alleges that the two were seen “canoodling” during the T&C Music Festival over the weekend while LisaRaye was in New York. Rocsi was definitely there, and people I know who attended said the two did seem a lil too friendly.

Rocsi also stayed at Misick’s home during the weekend. “Sources have even reported that Rocsi stayed at the Misick home and hosted guests as if she was the lady of the house,” the release stated. (more…)
