Turks and Caicos Prime Minister Michael Misick confirmed he will step down as leader at the end of March, citing a lack of support for his scandal-plagued government. Misick, the soon-to-be ex-husband of actress LisaRaye McCoy, was investigated for sexual assault in April after a woman accused him of rape. Also, he and and LisaRaye had a very public violent altercation which lead to his upcoming divorce. I would step down too!

As previously reported, LisaRaye McCoy-Misick and Premier Michael Misick have separated and have confirmed that they are seeking divorce. Essence got their hands on never before seen pictures of LisaRaye’s injuries after she and her husband, Premier Misick, got into a violent altercation upon her arrival back to their mansion in Turks & Caicos. Essence.com reports that on August 14, 2008, McCoy-Misick was taken to the island’s police department by her publicist, Lynn Jeter of Lynn Allen Jeter and Associates, and her personal bodyguard and cousin, Phillip Travis.

LisaRaye spent seven hours filing a report following an alleged altercation between herself, husband Misick, the couple’s personal security, and Jeter, that took place on August 13 at the presidential palace, the premier’s mansion. When contacted by ESSENCE.com, Misick’s office had no comment.

Since then, the first lady and premier have each released personal statements alleging that both were assaulted by individuals from the other party’s entourage. ESSENCE.com obtained photos of McCoy-Misick’s alleged injuries from a source close to the situation who asked not to be identified. See Pics Here:

Her publicist assures that her client is doing well. “LisaRaye is fine and in good spirits,” Jeter told ESSENCE.com, “and is working to get this matter resolved quickly as she moves forward with her career.”

LisaRaye’s publicist, Lynn Allen Jeter, has been working overtime to clear up all the “he say and she say” followed by the fight between her client and husband Premier Michael Misick.

Jeter tells EUR that she wasn’t there to witness the alleged “fight” and denied that a “fight” even took place between LisaRaye and Misick.

       “There was no pushing, there was no slugging, there was no swinging of arms, there was no tussle, nothing like that,” says Jeter.       

   Jeter says this is what really went down:

  “Her personal security (Travis) was driving, [LisaRaye] was in the back seat, I was in the passenger side of the jeep,” Jeter begins. “We pulled up to her home. We had been to the grocery store. She’d bought food to make tacos. So we had groceries in the back of the car.       

       “We got up to the house, the guards spoke to her and then proceeded to pick up the phone. [LisaRaye] said, ‘Oh you don’t have to pick up the phone to announce me.’ But he proceeded to do so and closed the door to the guard shack with LisaRaye standing there. …He caught her between the door and him. Her security (Travis) then got out of the car and pulled the door so [the guard] would not hurt her.”      

       Jeter affirms: “[Travis] never touched the security guard at all. LisaRaye then walked through the guard house into the property of her home. [Travis] was behind her, and I was sitting in the truck on the passenger side. I then got behind the driver’s seat and backed the truck up” to park it in the front of the house and call LisaRaye’s lawyer, believing he might be needed.      

      “But what I’ve been told by [LisaRaye] and [Travis is that] there was no belligerence,” says Jeter. “When they arrived, Michael was having a meeting with some of his ministers on the patio.”     

      “I was told [LisaRaye] came in, she waved. Two of the people on the patio saw her. But she didn’t see Michael. Michael, then, all of a sudden appeared and started walking up the walk toward the house,” Jeter recounts.       

       “[LisaRaye] was walking toward their library study, and Michael said, ‘You should not be here. What are you doing here?’ She said, What are you talking about Michael, this is my home.’ They went into the library. And one of Michael’s security guards grabbed First Lady’s hand and snatched a recorder she had in her hand.”      

       Jeter, who earlier stated there was no pushing during the confrontation, says one of Misick’s security guards then “pushed LisaRaye and her guard out the front door of the house.”      

       She says LisaRaye re-entered the home and ended up in the kitchen area, standing physically between Michael and his sister – with the sister behind the actress and Misick in front of her. Jeter says the siblings began moving their bodies into LisaRaye’s path to block her from stepping past them and into other rooms of the mansion.      

       “Then someone bit her on her shoulder,” Jeter says. “And then she bit someone back.”       

        By the time LisaRaye’s attorney (reached by Jeter via cell phone from the parked jeep) had arrived at the mansion, police were on the scene and Travis was in a squad car. He was eventually allowed to leave without being arrested.

LisaRaye was spotted at LAX Airport this past weekend, I guess she left the island (check out the pics):

Turks and Caicos Island spies have revealed that LisaRaye is (still) in the hospital after an altercation between her and her husband, Premeir Misick, broke out at their mansion earlier this week. “He beat her bad,” a source told fellow blog EUR. “She came in the same day Rocsi went out, and he had already issued the statement that they were separated. Apparently she went over there and got into the fight. She’s now in the hospital.” 
 ”The sub-story is that he has been under investigation because $57 million dollars is missing from our government. They froze all of his bank accounts. He’s getting a separation because he can’t afford to get a divorce”, the source revealed.

The plot thickens. LisaRaye and her soon to be ex-hubby Premier Michael Misick bothh filed a police report against eachother. According to Carribean Net News, a physical fight went down in front of government officials between LisaRaye and Misick.

A rep for Misick released a statement Thursday denying that he assaulted his wife, and accusing LisaRaye, her cousin and her publicist of initiating the drama. LOL!

“Last night LisaRaye, her cousin Phillip Travis, and her publicist Lynn Jeter assaulted the guard at the Premier’s home, proceeded to ransack the house, and then assaulted the Premier and his sister,” read the statement. “

As the result of her assault on them, both the Premier and his sister were taken to the hospital with injuries and later released. The Premier at no time had any physical contact with LisaRaye.

“It is public knowledge that the couple has been separated for months, and LisaRaye has no lawful right to be in the residence. Her conduct yesterday clearly contradicts her stated commitment to dissolve the marriage amicably.”

As previously reported on the scoop, Misick released a statement stating that he would be dissolving his marriage to LisaRaye.

According to Carribean Net News, LisaRaye returned to the TCI this week to work out a divorce settlement but things got violent. We hear on Wednesday night, LisaRaye went to the mansion to confront her husband, and things got UGLY and violent. Misick refused to allow his wife to stay at the Premier’s mansion. It’s official, LisaRaye and her husband, Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick, announced their intention to file for divorce. In a statement, Premier Misick says:

“I am announcing that I am separated from LisaRaye McCoy-Misick. I am committed to dissolving the marriage amicably. I believe that this is a private matter and will have no further comments. I hope that our privacy will be respected.”

As previously reported, LisaRaye just went back to their mansion on the island after spending time in New York to try to patch things up after rumors revealed that he was cheating on her with Rocsi of BET’s 106&Park. The marriage has been plagued with ongoing rumors on Misick’s infidenlity and lies.

The politican has also been accused of raping a Puerto-Rican woman, described as a friend of LisaRaye.

I wonder if Misick asked her to sign a PRE-NUP before they got hitched? Hmmmm….

Despite the ongoing reports that LisaRaye is divorcing her husband, Michael Misick, Premier of Turks and Caicos, the actress says she has moved back into the mansion they share on the island.

As previously reported, a rep for the actress released a statement suggesting that Misick has been cheating with Rocsi from BET’s “106 & Park”. The two were spotted cuddling at a recent music event on the island while LisaRaye was visiting the U.S. Rocsi reportedly even spent the weekend at the couple’s house as a “guest”. We heard that LisaRaye was furious about Rocsi spending the weekend with her husband, sooo…I guess she went back to the island to “get back her man”!

“It’s not that she would miss him, she would miss her position,” said a writer from NY’s Page Six. “She’s grown accustomed to the lifestyle – the gifts, the cars, the status.”       

The couple has been married since 2006.

WOW! Check out this juicy bit of gossip. A rep for actress Lisa Raye released an official statement saying that Lisa’s husband, Turks & Caicos Premier Michael Misick, is messing around with BET 106 & Park Rocsi!

I kid you not! The publicity firm, Lynn Allen Jeter & Associates alleges that the two were seen “canoodling” during the T&C Music Festival over the weekend while LisaRaye was in New York. Rocsi was definitely there, and people I know who attended said the two did seem a lil too friendly.

Rocsi also stayed at Misick’s home during the weekend. “Sources have even reported that Rocsi stayed at the Misick home and hosted guests as if she was the lady of the house,” the release stated.

Rocsi’s reps did not respond to the statement at press time. We will keep you “in the loop“!

We did hear that LisaRaye and her husband were going through some turbulent times especially after Misick was accused on rape in which Rocsi’s name was floating around as part of the ongoing investigation…

Michael Misick has revealed that is is seriously considering stepping down from his position as Premier of Turks & Caicos. This decision stems from the ongoing sexual assault investigation and other serious allegations against him. As previously reported, the husband of Lisa Raye was accused of sexual assault from a Puerto Rican/American woman, who is over the age of 18. She claims that assault took place on the island and also claims that she knows Misick from a prior incident. The FBI has reportedly landed on the island and launched an investigation. Meanwhile, the police tell TMZ that Misick has been “cooperative.”

The premiere of The Turks & Caicos, Michael Misick, is being investigated for sexually assualting a U.S. citizen while visiting the island. The husband of actress Lisa Raye denies all allegations…Rumor has it the woman may be a friend of Lisa Raye. [The trouble] started when Lisa Raye found out about the affair that Michael Misick is [allegedly] having with her friend Nicole Murphy. As you know, it is true that they were in the Bahamas together. [When] Lisa found out, she was very shocked and upset – she carried on really bad in the islands.

A few days later Lisa Raye set up the boxing show featuring Zab Judah and other contenders. Well she showed up extremely late and when the Minister went to kiss her on the lips, she pulled back and said loudly “No Mr. Missick” and walked away.

The New York Daily News reported that LisaRaye’s husband, Turks and Caicos premier Michael Misick, attended the opening of the Mediterranean Village at Sandals’ Grande Antigua resort  Nicole Murphy, the ex-wife of film star Eddie Murphy. Nicole  is said to be a mutual friend of the couple, however the two looked like more than friends at the event.  ”Our spies say the premier’s bodyguard made sure there were no photos taken of the two,” Page Six reported. “and they did a great job….neither WireImage, the event’s official photographer, nor ‘Access Hollywood,’ who did a segment on the launch, mentioned either of them being there.” They were also spotted at a nearby pub and according to the report, “friendly kisses were exchanged” between the two. “It’s funny – if you didn’t know better, you would have thought they were together,” a source on the island told Page Six.  A rep for LisaRaye told the newspaper: “Nicole is a good friend, and she and Michael were both there for an event but not together.”
