Because of all the talk on the Chrianna situation, MTV has decided to air “Chris Brown & Rihanna: Love in Trouble” special which will air on Monday, February 16 at 6pm ET. It will take a look at the events that led up to the “alleged” altercation and the ramifications Chris Brown may face.

50 Cen’t reality show on MTV “The Money and the Power” has been cancelled after roughly one month on the air. LOL! The show debuted on November 6th, but will be cancelled due to disappointing ratings says MTV. The show was wack! Don’t you agree? I couldn’t even get through the first episode without flipping the channel.

About the show:

Best known as Rev. Run’s daughters and big sisters to JoJo, Diggy, Russy and baby Miley, Vanessa and Angela Simmons have literally grown up on MTV. Across five seasons of Run’s House, we’ve watched these young women begin to make their own place in the world, but always under the watchful eye and with the guiding hand of their father. After all, they are Daddy’s Girls.

But now it’s time for them to stretch their wings and take on life on their own terms. Daddy’s Girls follows Vanessa and Angela as they officially leave the comforts of the family home in New Jersey to run their own business and live full-time in Los Angeles. Will they be able to keep in mind the invaluable moral lessons their father has instilled in them as they navigate the fast lane?

Vanessa and Angela won’t be alone as they establish a home together in Los Angeles and set up West Coast operations for their Pastry shoe line.

Daddy’s Girls will also feature their cousin Jessica and their new friend Aliceia. A trusted friend, Jessica is a responsible individual whose role will be to keep Vanessa and Angela grounded in spite of their hip-hop royalty lifestyle. Aliceia, meanwhile, is an eccentric and beautiful aspiring singer who lives on a meager budget, yet is always striving to keep up with the Simmons sisters.

Of course, Vanessa and Angela are no strangers to Los Angeles. As Run’s House fans know, Vanessa has lived a bicoastal lifestyle, traveling back and forth between Los Angeles and New York City while pursing a acting career, in addition to her involvement in the Pastry shoe business. And Angela has been working hard as an aspiring fashion designer and editor (at Hype Hair magazine and of “Angela’s Rundown,” a monthly insert in Word Up magazine) who has frequently found herself in L.A., too, even though she has tried hard to establish an identity separate from that of her big sister.

In Los Angeles, they’ll strive to make Pastry a success that’s worthy of the Simmons family name. At the same time, they’ll grow their friendships with Jessica and Aliceia while dating and following their dreams and desires, and making life decisions on their own.

And as the title Daddy’s Girls suggests, just because they’re on the opposite coast doesn’t mean they will be out of touch with Run’s House. Vanessa and Angela will stay in touch with Rev. Run, updating Daddy at the end of each episode … if he can wait that long! Of course, the girls quickly learn that their dad doesn’t need to know everything that goes on in their lives. But one thing is sure, that even though Vanessa and Angela are growing up and moving out into the world on their own, they’ll always be Daddy’s Girls.

It’s time to say goodbye to MTV Total Request Live! Celebrity guests showed up last night to say farewell to TRL. Beyonce stopped by and took the stage singing “If I Were a Boy”, “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)”, and “Crazy in Love”. Ludacris, Snoop Dogg, Nelly, and 50 Cent also performed and paid their respects. Check out pics and video performances below:

Fall Out Boy also made a live appearance at the star-studded show on November 16. The band performed without their bassist Pete Wentz. A member of The Academy Is… filled in his spot in the band during the live show.

“Total Request Live” is a television series on MTV that featured celebrity interviews, musical performances, and regular music news updates. Since broadcast in 1997, the show became a popular outlet used by musicians, actors, and other celebrities to promote their newest works to fans.

“The Money and the Power” reality show created by 50 Cent will premiere tonight at 10 p.m. on MTV. As you may recall, 14 potential moguls will compete to earn a $100,000.00 investement from 50. One of the first challenges will debut tonight where two teams will have to navigate through Brooklyn chained together. MTV revealed that the show will feature cameos by LL Cool J, Aubrey O’Day, and Lloyd Banks. Will you be tuning in?

MTV’s TRL is preparing for its exit. The popular show has lined up 50 Cent, Fall Out Boy and the Backstreet Boys to perform on MTV’s “Total Finale Live,” joining Beyoncé on the two-hour special marking the end of the network’s “Total Request Live.” Original host Carson Daly will return to co-host the big finale, alongside current host Damien Fahey.  “Total Finale Live” will air Sunday, Nov. 16 at 8 p.m. ET.  Special appearances from Ludacris, Mariah Carey, Diddy and Snoop Dogg. Former “TRL” VJs Dave Holmes, Jesse Camp, La La Vasquez and Hilarie Burton will also take place. Will you miss TRL?

I’m sure all of you caught the finale of Making of the Band 4 (Season 3)…Were you suprised that Aubrey and D.Woods really got kicked out of the group? Entertainment Weekly had a candid interview with Shannon Bex of the group, check it out here:

MARGEAUX’S MIX: Is the Danity Kane drama real or simply a PR stunt designed to set the stage for a season 4 reunion, if not Destiny’s Child-style auditions for new members?
SHANNON BEX: This is real life to me — every facial expression, everything we’re going through. We’re just as flabbergasted and shell-shocked as everybody.

Where is D. Woods tonight? Have you talked to her since she was kicked out of the group?
I talked to her on the phone about two days ago. She’s in Europe, where she was asked to host a fashion show and be part of an awards show. We didn’t even know the live finale was going to happen. From what we understood, the meeting we were in [with Puff that you saw on TV] was it. Then we got last-minute phone calls about this live finale Q&A. So, understandably, people had to move things around in their schedules, and some people could and some people couldn’t.

How do you feel about Puff not being here tonight?
Puff is a scary guy. I think we were a little relieved that he was via satellite. He’s very intimidating. After the last [meeting], we were very overwhelmed. But I guess with him being here, it would’ve shown — I don’t know. I think we would’ve been more nervous. Something else could’ve happened. Does that make sense? I’m sorry. I’m still coming down from seeing the show tonight and seeing the fans’ faces. It breaks my heart.

What’s next for Danity Kane, Aubrey, and D. Woods?
Right now, we’re in the dark. We don’t know. Maybe in a year from now, we’ll be able to see if it was a breakdown or a breakthrough.

Beyonce dropped by TRL (and 106 & Park) yesterday. Jay-Z’s wifey talked about her upcoming album and showed off her two new music videos for “Single Ladies” and “If I Were A Boy“. Have you noticed that Beyonce toned down her look? She was rockin’ a rather more natural look on both shows yesterday, and I’m LOVING IT! Check out what she had to say during her TRL interview:

On younger sister Solange Knowles: “On my album, she wrote co-wrote two of the songs. She’s grown so much. I watch her and I’m so proud of her. She’s always going to be my baby.”

On Solange’s son Daniel Julez Smith, Jr. (father is football player Daniel Smith): “My nephew’s 4th birthday is in a couple of days (October 18) in Houston, so I’m going to go out and see them… Oh, I spoil him. I get him whatever he wants!”

On zero collaborations on this album: “I just wanted people to get to know me and the two extremes of my personality. Once the album comes out, you’ll completely understand. You can kind of see with the videos. One is my alter ego (Sasha) and the other one is really intimate and emotional. The album is kind of split into two, it’s a double album.”

UPDATE: Beyonce announced that she’ll be performing on the show’s last episode, Total Finale Live, on November 16 @ 8PM ET/PT.

On another note, during B’s “106 & Park” appearance yesterday, she confirmed that her “Single Ladies” video was indeed inspired by the famed Broadway choreographer Bob Fosse. That’s why there are similarities!

Another Diddy Reality show in the works! Diddy linked up with Mark Burnett and is searching for the next music superstar on his new MTV reality series. The show is going to be called “StarMaker” and is set to premiere in January 2009.

The show will feature a group of aspiring solo artists handpicked by Combs, who will compete against each other for a chance to obtain stardom while living together. Contestants will go through StarMaker boot camp, in addition to being evaluated on various tasks whish include how well they handle photo shoots, deal with paparazzi and physically perform on stage. According to Combs, the alliance with Burnett can only amount to success for StarMaker. “It’s a privilege to partner with Mark Burnett on my latest television venture,” said Combs who labeled Burnett as “one of the industry’s best.” “I am confident that we will do great things together with StarMaker and beyond”!

Wow! MTV confirmed that they will be cancelling TRL’s ten year run…Now we hear that BET has decided to canel BET Rap City. The economy must be really bad! We hear that the show will have its last day on the air on October 26th, 2008. No word yet as to which show will be taking its place in BET’s weekly line up.

Dave Sirulnick, executive producer of ‘Total Request Live, spoke with the Associated Press about MTV’s decision to end the program’s ten year run. “Ten a great number,” Sirulnick said. “This feels like the right time and let’s celebrate it and let’s reward it.” He added “Let’s let it have a little bit of a rest for a minute. Been working hard for 10 years!” The show will end in November with a special 2-hour show, taking place on a Saturday.

Sirulnick said he hopes to celebrate ‘TRL’ the finale with many of the “folks who helped make `TRL’ what it is — whether that’s Justin (Timberlake) and his guys in *NSYNC, the Backstreet Boys, Britney, Eminem — I think we would love to see all of them here.” That would also include the show’s original host, Carson Daly.

We haven’t gotten official confirmation from BET about the news, but once the Media Release is sent, we’ll let you know!

Fans of the reality show should know that Creepa is the winner of the first season of MTV’s from G’s To Gents. He won $100,000.00 for becoming a gentleman which was really tough for him. Supposedly, Creepa came from a violent background of Miami Gardens, Florida a place where his father was killed when he was just a child, and where day-to-day living was purely a matter of survival of the fittest, and luck of the draw. As a result, he learned at an age to be a thug to survive, and take care of his family. SUPPOSEDLY is the KEY WORD here…So, I get this email yesterday, and we hear that Creepa lied his way on the show…I’m not sure how true that is either, but check out this Media Release (which has some major typos in it from the Publicist) Miss Xpose received yesterday:

Miami FL – Miami Gardens resident Thaddeus ”CREEPA” Martin was crown a gentleman and walked away the winner of the $100,000.00 cash prize last night on MTV’s summer blockbuster hit reality show ”FROM G’S TO GENTS”. Produced partly by Oscar award winning actor JAMIE FOXX and brilliantly hosted by P Diddy’s ex-butler and recording artist, FONWORTH BENTLEY. Millions of MTV’s fans watched their favorite ”G” CREEPA win the prize as tears of joy streamed down the winner’s face after giving his seemingly heartfelt speech to why he should be crowned the winner.

Week after week fans had their hearts strings pulled as CREEPA told his story of being a ‘’street thug” tired of the life and looking for a change. How a disabled mother raised him after his father was murdered. How he had to work the streets to get money to care for his family as a young boy. How he suffers from heart problems and/or chest problems due to his hard life on the streets. Not to mention one of his friends was murdered while he was on the show ….oh no that was last week ….this week it was THREE FRIENDS and now he needed to the money to re-locate from his ”hood” in fear of his own life upon returning home.

As stated in his final statement to Mr. Bentley on last night’s final episode.
Was it all a lie?

In fact sources close to the family states the following:

CREEPA mother is not really disabled at all as seen when she appeared on the show 2 weeks ago. ”CREEPA’s mother worked for AT&T for years …over 20 year I think states a family friend …She is a home owner…they own their home! I know she stop working a couple of years ago because her hands hurt from typing for years but she is not disabled the way her son was lying on that show”. She adds ”If you call not working, drinking, smoking weed, getting high with CREEPA and living off poorly cared for foster kids disabled …then she is disabled”. Yes, CREEPA’s father was killed when he a two …but I know nothing of him being a ‘’street thug” or hustling living on the streets…his mother had a good job with benefits for years!
CREEPA is too lazy to hustle …he won’t work period! He moved a 17 year old girl in his mother’s house and she was the only one is the house working taking care of CREEPA! He kicked her out the day before he left to do the show…that girl took care of him for over a year. He later took her back in after he dumped his partner that put him on the show when he returned 4 weeks later bragging he fooled everyone and won the show. In fact CREEPA broke ties with everyone that ever did anything for him when he returned from that show.
As far as a friend being killed … I challenge him to name one friend…ONE that was killed during those 3 1/2 weeks he was on the show…. Forget about 3! When he said he needed the money to relocate out of fear of being killed …I almost fell off my chair! CREEPA has been home from day one! He’s home right now waiting for those suckers to give him that check! On his porch as always smoking weed with friends till the wee hours of da night. I know his partner, Tandy did try to move CREEPA to a $700,000 gated condo on the beach when he came home before she too learned of the extent of CREEPA’s lies …he would not move …cause he wanted to steal the money from her! Does that sound like somebody afraid for his or her life! It was all a con …a lie. And I feel sorry for a few of those guys on that show cause they all fell for a master liar. I can’t see how MTV didn’t know this kid was lying …there is something funny wit dat. I know he was real close with one of the producers on the show…she calls him still all the time still. Maybe the show was fixed.
I also feel for Mr. Bentley he was trying to do the right thing and Miami Dade County player just played him. He is 10 times worse than Rick Ross !!!

Remember CREEPA never won one of the challenges while on the show but yet HE won. Did he do it by telling lies, bulling others into not voting off him or perhaps by having a special friendship with one of the female producer’s from the show?
What message does that send to the children of our community…?

Who watches from G’s to Gents on MTV? Well you will appreciate this…During the taping of the Reunion episode, G’s cast members were being interviewed backstate for IAMONMTV.com. Security was already on high alert, because Kesan, who had a very high temper on the show, was in the building. Producers allowed Kesan to go down the hall to get better cell phone reception, but when Kesan overhead E6 rhymin’ on camera and hatin’ on the other cast members, he suckered punched E6 so hard and so quick, poor boy’s hat just spinned in the air…its too funny…you gotta watch it!
