Rappers T.I., Lil Wayne, and Flo Rida lead the pack of nominees for the MTV Best Male Video award to be handed out September 7 in Los Angeles at the 2008 VMA’s. As for categories in R&B, Usher and Chris have been nominated for the award.

Another Season of MTB4 will soon begin. The season will center Day26 and Donnie on tour with Danity Kane as the headliners. The tour is titled the Making the Band Tour. Also, it will follow Donnie’s solo career, while he put the finishing touches on his album, as well as Aubrey as she is targeted in many gossip columns, including a possible affair with singer Jesse McCartney. And guess what, Laurie Ann’s back! I guess Diddy and her put their differences aside. Diddy knows he needs her! The show is going to air on MTV on August 13, 2008. Check out the Trailer…

TILA TEQUILA DISSED BY HER “SHOT OF LOVE”

The finale of Tila Tequila’s “A Shot of Love 2″ aired on MTV last night. Tila chose female finalist Kristy over potential boyfriend Bo. Bo was cleary hurt when Tila dimissed him. “I’ve been calling Tila my girlfriend for a long time now,” he said. “I really do love Tila.” He was heartbroken but gracious when he didn’t get a key, telling her, “You always got your Bo-bear.” When Tila surprised Kristy with the “key” to her heart, she was surprised herself as Kristy refused the key. HEIDI MONTAG, STAR OF THE HILLS, GOES CHRISTIAN?

MTV’s The Hills star, Heidi Montag, said most people don’t know she has a very spiritual side. The actor turned singer says, “I have been the most religious person since I was 2 years old. I always felt this crazy connection to God”. Montag, who just released her single “Fashio” (listen below) says she frequently reads her Bible and would love to record a Christian album in the near future. She adds that she once planned on devoting her life to God as a missionary in Africa. She and beau Spencer Pratt will head there in August to “feed children and help build things.” (more…)

50 CENT’S NEW “COMPETITIVE” REALITY SHOW?

Will it be another lackluster reality show? 50 Cent has collaborated with MTV to produce reality show for the. MTV announced yesterday that the elimination style reality show follows 16 contestants as they attempt to master the “skills that took 50 Cent from the streets to corporate America.” 50 will judge the contestants each week, until the finale, where a winner will receive a full scholarship to an undergraduate or graduate business program. Similar to T.I.‘s upcoming reality show, 50 Cent’s reality show which is untitled is being produced by Michael Hirschorn and Ish Entertainment. 50 Cent and his longtime manager Chris Lighty will serve as executive producers.
