ABC recently announced that “Good Morning America” host Robin Roberts will interview Janet Jackson for a special to air on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 10pm. Congrats to the New York Yankees who won the WORLD SERIES. Mary J. Blige was chosen to sing the National Anthem last night and she tore it up!!!! (see video below). The New York-born Blige, wearing a World Series jacket and a Yankees jersey, said: “I have never done it before, so I’m kind of nervous. But I’m mostly excited because this is my hometown. Some of you may be lacking a bit of “Love, Peace, and Soul” in your life…but Soul Train Music Awards is back. The award show took place at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta on November 3 and will air on November 23. Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard hosted the show. This year’s show honors Chaka Khan, Charlie Wilson, L.A. Reid and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds.
