Andre 3000 was arrested this weekend in Atlanta. Buddy was driving his 2007 Porsche Carrera at speeds so excessive that the police confirmed that it was “an accident waiting to happen”.

Andre was arrested by Henry County Police for driving at 109 mph, 44 mph over the 65 mph speed limit along that stretch of I-75. The charge was for “danger he posed to other drivers”. “Traveling that fast along 75, you’re passing people as if they’re standing still,” explained Henry County Police Captain Jason Bolton.

UH OH! Rapper, Method Man, got a visit from the REPO man recently. His 2008 Lincoln Navigator was reportedly repossessed last week. Method failed to pay $52,503 in personal income taxes which resulted in his vehicle being taken by officials on Wednesday, March 18, at 6 a.m. from his Staten Island home. Shame!

Do you guys remember throwback R&B group, Soul For Real. Well one of the members, Brian Dalyrimple is on the run from Georgia police over charges of “identity theft”. Dalyrimple allegedly scammed hundreds of people in the Duluth area. I hear his brothers (also former members of the group) were involved in the crime ring. Soul For Real is best known for their 1995 hit “Candy Rain” and “Every Little Thing I Do”. Video below to refresh your memory.

Newly signed artist, Kid Cudi, doesn’t have any plans to pursue his music career. Per his blog on kidcudi.com, Cudi says he will retire after his first album drops…WTF? Cudi who is a part of Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music family, CuDi appeared on Yeezy’s 808s & Heartbreak, has been touring with the superstar and recently released a video for his smash hit, “Day ‘N’ Nite.” He isn’t enjoying the success though.

“After the release of my first LP this summer, I am not making any more solo albums,” he wrote in all caps. “I am falling back on being an artist. The drama that comes with it is more overwhelming than the shit I was dealing with when I was piss poor broke.”

“My friends get mad at me, say I’ve changed,” he continued. “One of the only homies I got in this game, Wale, is worried about me ’cause of shit he hears. Like, WTF? Who can say I’m being Hollywood? I’m not around anyone but Plain Pat and Emile. Who can say that shit? Motherfuckas talkin’ shit here and there, spreadin’ rumors, makin’ jokes, tryin’ to judge me, and for what?”

Bebe Winans has been charged with misdemeanor domestic assault after a fight broke out between him and his his ex-wife in Nashville.  The popular gospel artist Benjamin “BeBe” Winans supposedly got into a heated argument with his ex-wife, Debra, about their children at her home on Feb. 13, court documents state. Winans’ ex-wife told authorities that he pushed her to the ground. BeBe released from the Davidson County jail Thursday after posting $1,000 bond. Winans says in a statement that “the allegations are inconsistent with my character.” Winans is a judge on BET’s television show “Sunday Best.” Hmmmm not sure if I believe her…This may be a case of a scorned heart! Authorities have confirmed that veteran rapper Coolio was arrested last week at LAX airport on charges of drug possession. Coolio, real name Artis Levo Ivey, Jr, was to board a Southwest flight to Tulsa, Oklahoma for a scheduled performance with Tone Loc and Shock G of Digital Underground. After getting into a physical altercation with the terminal screener, a security search revealed he was in possession of illegal narcotics, specifically crack.  After being locked up for a couple hours, Coolio posted $10,000 bail and was released.

Tyrese is going thru some baby momma drama! His estranged wife, Norma Gibson, of 10 months took him to court and the Judge has ordered Tyrese Gibson to pay up $65,000.00 along with $6,230.00 a month for child support for their daughter, Shayla. He is also required to pay Norma’s monthly rent of $2,730 and make her $800 car payments.

According to TMZ, Norma, who had accused Tyrese of being an absentee dad in a response to his divorce declaration, is reportedly contesting their prenup. (more…)

David Banner is in some legal trouble. He is being sued by Davenport Lyons for breach of an oral contract. Banner allegedly entered into an oral agreement with Davenport Lyons to provide legal and other professional services to Banner. The lawsuit pleading states, “[Banner] was to pay [Lyons] a specified fee for those legal services and other professional services.” However, payment was not made, claims Davenport Lyons. Lyons is seeking more than $43,000 in damages and attorney’s fees. My question is, why would an attorney enter into an oral agreement, don’t you think you would ask for your client to sign a retainer agreement? WTF? I wonder how this will pan out!

According to Billboard.com, Grammy nominee Jazmine Sullivan is now preparing for her first major film, “Red Tails,” where she will play a jazz singer who performs for soldiers in the Tuskegee Airmen story. Director Anthony Hemingway will shoot the film in Prague and has also tapped singer Ne-Yo to join the cast. Sullivan is definitely an overnight success!
