The Dress code was ALL White at a star-saturated party thrown by Sean “Diddy” Combs at his Long Island home, and the dress code was strictly enforced. Diddy’s annual White Party, which he has held in St. Tropez in recent years, featured a white carpet to go along with the white dress code. “This party is up there with the top three that I’ve thrown,” Combs said. “It’s a party that has legendary status. It’s hard to throw a party that lives up to its legend.”

Rapper Yung Joc has collected $100,000 from his management team after winning a bet to see who could lose weight the fastest. The rap star cut out alcohol and late-night fast food binges, and hit the gym in a bid to lose 35 pounds and win the diet money. He tells King magazine, “We all just made a bet and we started dieting, eating, like, five times a day, exercising three to four times a week.”

Rappers Common and Q-Tip are joining forces to form a group called The Standard, the former A Tribe Called Quest frontman revealed in an interview recently. “It was more of his suggestion,” Tip explained to XXLMag.com. “He was like, ‘We just need to do a record.’ So I’m really excited about that.”  The project will be under  Universal Records and the specifics are still being sorted out. We will keep you posted!

Yonkers rapper Jae Hood revealed that he is no longer signed to D-Block Records, and explained his situation in an online statement. “It has come to my attention that multiple rumors are emerging and circulating around the internet and the streets. So I will use this announcement to clarify these statements.”

Usher and his bride are making headlines once again. This time, the news concerns their unborn child, which Usher recently admitted he had a name in mind. The R&B singing sensation revealed to www.usmagazine.com that he already had a name picked out if the baby turned out to be a boy. It looks like it will be a junior if the couple gives birth to baby Usher.

By the way the couple got OFFICIALLY married this past weekend.

OK! Yesterday I reported that JD had his grand opening launch party for his STUDIO 72 in Atlanta…some of the invited guest (that can be seen in yesterday’s red carpet pictures) were Nelly, Monica, Usher, etc. Well, Miss Crystal from Flava of Love 2 and Charm School made a guest appearance (like she is somebody). My spies who attended the party told me that NELLY and CRYSTAL became very “close”  in the VIP area.
