As part of World AIDS Day on Dec. 1, the Magic Johnson Foundation and global health care company Abbott teamed to launch the “I Stand With Magic, Campaign to End Black HIV/AIDS.” The initiative includes Facebook and PSAs in effort to reduce disease in black community.
NATE DOGG XPOSED!
TMZ obtained the “911″ call made by Nate Dogg’s estranged wife, Latoya, on June 23. Latoya said she was being chased by Natedown the Freeway and claimed he was trying to kill her. The artist, born Nathaniel Hale, was arrested and charged with three felony counts of making criminal threats and stalking and one misdemeanor count of driving on a suspended license. Damn! Nate Dogg suffered a SECOND stroke recently. We haven’t got all the details yet, but sources say that the rapper is in serious condition due to a second stroke. As you may recall, Nate Dogg had a stroke in late December of 2007 which caused him to be partially paralyzed on the left side of his body. Now we hear he can’t breath on his own as a result of this recent stroke! SAD. (more…)
Singer Nate Dogg was arrested yesterday morning in Los Angeles after a woman claiming to be his estranged wife called police to say he was making death threats against her as he drove behind her on a freeway. The 38-year-old singer was released from the Twin Towers jail in Los Angeles the next day after posting a $50,000 bond. He has gone crazy!
Nate Dogg, former hook man for the Snoop Dogg and Death Row label mates, has plead guilty to charges of battery and aggravated trespass which stem from a 2006 incident. Two years ago, Nate broke into his former girlfriend’s house and attacked her new boyfriend. He also was charged with making numerous phone calls to her, asking witnesses to not report the crime, and also for violating a protective order from a previous domestic violence incident. Most of the charges were dropped, but his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend have both asked for restraining orders against Nate. (more…)
We just got word in that Hip Hop legend Nate Dogg is paralyzed on his left side after suffering a recent stroke. He is expected to make a full recovery after the stroke, but it didn’t turn out that way. His representative, Rod McGrew, told MTV “Time will tell everything, obviously. The doctor can only guess what the outcome will be. But based on situations with similar people his age, and based on his health, the prognosis is good right now.” According to McGrew, there was no brain damage suffered by the artist and his vocal chords were not affected.
