Nelly fronts Sean John’s Underwear Spring/Summer 2009 ad campaign. He looks GREATTTTT! I see more of his body than the underwear advertisement! LOL! Diddy originally announced the partnership with Nelly back in July. These ads will be used in national print, online and outdoor campaigns.

Even though rapper Nelly and Ashanti have kept their relationship tight-lipped, Nelly opened up (a lil’ bit) about his relationship with Ashanti. “That’s the thing between me and her, we just like having fun,” he told People.com at Las Vegas’ Lavo club. When asked whether their bond is serious, he said, “I think it’s always serious-when you can hang with a person continuously…and (still) have fun.” Earlier this summer, Ashanti would only call Nelly a “good friend,” according to People.com. But ya’ll know that ain’t true!

Nelly celebrated his birthday in style at the Palazzo in Vegas this past weekend. Ford Flex hosted Nelly’s Suprise Birthday Bash. Nelly turned 34! (I didn’t know he was in his mid thirties!)! Happy Birthday Sexy! LOL!

R&B singing stars Ashanti and Akon joined Nelly on stage for a performance of his latest single, “Body On Me,” on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night. Nelly was on our local radio station the other day, and when the VJ asked him about marriage plans with Ashanti, he avoided the question, but did say he enjoys spending time with Shanti and thinks she is very SEXY….awwww how cute!

ThisIs50.com caught up with Nelly, asking the rapper to weigh in on the Ice-T feud with Soulja Boy. “How are you gonna say a 17-year-old is killing hip hop? You think he’s making music for you? What are you doing listening to a 17-year-old boy anyway judging him? That sh** right there is whack. That’s the wackest part ever. Hip-Hop stars Queen Latifah and Nelly have partnered with AT&T to record “xclusive” songs to boost the morale of U.S. Olympic Team athletes competing in Beijing, China. Queen Latifah recorded the exclusive track “Champion,” while Nelly recorded the song “Warrior (Team USA Edition).” The tracks are available for download online via iTunes and directly from AT&T handsets through AT&T’s Media Mall.

Ashanti covers Page Six Magazine in its upcoming issue and she talks about her boo Nelly. The R&B Singer insists that her and Nelly are still an item and she looks forward to getting married one day.

She told Page Six Magazine thatNelly, who appears in her new video for “Good Good,” “is an amazing person with a big heart, who’s taught me a lot.”

Although she didn’t confirm if her and Nelly have discussed nuptials as of yet, she did say she was planning a wedding already.

I’ve been planning my wedding in my head since I was a little girl and it just keeps getting more elaborate,” the singer was quoted as saying in her cover story. ” “I want a lot of people there. I’m a huge fan of the ­Caribbean, so if I didn’t get married in New York, it would have to be on the beach.”

Ashanti’s parents have been going strong and married for the last 20 years and although they only had two children, Ashanti wants a house full with future hubby Nelly.

“I want 10 kids!” Ashanti told the magazine.  “When my aunts hear me say that, they say,  ‘Wait till she has one (baby) and that number’s gonna change!’ I love kids and kids dig me.”

Ashanti also said in a seperate interview that she is close to Nelly’s two kids as if they were her own. Thats sweet!

During So So Def weekend in Atlanta, gunfire erupted at a club in Atlanta. Jermaine Dupri was hosting a fabolous party at Dreamz in ATL attended by celeb friends Usher, Nelly and Sean “Diddy” Combs and more . Around 3:30 a.m. shots were fired after some guests were allegedly double-charged by security guards to enter, DeKalb County police spokesman Marcus Hodge tells WSBTV. A security guard was reportedly wounded.

“I’m sad this incident happened because it interrupted a beautiful and loving party. But I’m happy none of my people or friends got hurt. And the party continues,” Dupri said in a statement.

St. Louis Rapper, Nelly, will make a multi-episode guest appearance as a club owner/informant on the forensic crime series CSI: NY this Fall. Nelly is really doing big things…“He’s a great actor,” Pam Veasey, the show’s executive producer, told Entertainment Weekly of Nellz’ guest spot. “He really stepped up.”

As previously reported, Nelly recently inked a deal with Sean John has the spokesperson for Diddy’s underwear line, and also re-launched his new Energy Drink.

Diddy has named Nelly as the first spokesmodel for Sean John UNDERWEAR! Damn…just the sound of that makes my mouth water, LOL! This official announcement was made today July 28. Nelly will be featured in the Fall campaign promoting Sean John’s collection of underwear and loungewear. The campaign, which was shot by Randee St. Nicholas, showcases Nelly in a modern home overlooking Los Angeles, while modeling the underwear. “I have been a big fan of Diddy and the Sean John clothing line for years,” Nelly revealed. “I have known Nelly for many years and I really admire his work. To me, Nelly is the quintessential definition of the Sean John man,” Diddy said. “He has the attitude, the swagger, and most of all the physique that our customers can both aspire and relate to. And let’s be honest, all of the ladies out there are going to be thanking us for this campaign.” I can’t wait to see this ad! Here’s a preview:
