He will be the new host of “America’s Got Talent” according to Reuters.The Rapper/actor and comedian is hoping to bring more of a youthful vibe to the top-watched show, which launched in 2006. Us Magazine reports that Salma Hayek and French businessman Francois-Henri Pinault wed over the weekend in Paris. The wedding took place on Valentines Day. They got hitched in the town hall in the St Germain area on the Left Bank on Saturday, mayor Jean-Pierre Lecoq first said, confirming a report by French newsmagazine Le Point.The two have a daughter, Valentina, who was born in September 2007. He also has two children from a previous marriage. Congrats!

Nick Cannon’s ex-girlfriend, Christina Milian, said she was really surprised when she found out her ex had gone off and married Mariah Carey secretly in the Bahamas.

“I definitely was shocked like everybody else,” Christina Milian, who dated Nick in 2005, tells Rap-Up magazine in its Winter 08/09 issue, on newsstands Dec. 30.

“I was like, ‘Really?’ It just seemed like a weird match,” says the singer and actress. “But I was happy for him. I always feel like Nick works hard to get what he wants, whether that be women – that’s how he got me.”

LMAO! “It’s not that we had no intimacy, we just didn’t have complete intimacy,” Mariah tells Britain’s Daily Mirror. “…We both have similar beliefs, and I just thought that it would be so much more special if we waited until after we were married.” “And it was, and it still is,” she added. OK! magazine is quoting an unnamed source who swears the two-month-old marriage of Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey is already in shambles, mostly due to arguments over her diva behavior.

The source says: “Things are really bad between them. The honeymoon period was over before it began. Nick’s been surprised at just how demanding his wife is. He feels like her skivvy and moans she has him waiting on her hand and foot. Of course, they met not long before they decided to get married so there were always going to be things they needed to learn about each other. It appears Nick’s learned he doesn’t like her very much.”

Nick Cannon dispells the rumors in a recent interview with People Magazine. He told People that his marriage is “amazing”. The stud says “It’s the best thing that ever happened to me,” Cannon, who was sporting his wedding band!

Word has it that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have a wedding registry set up at New York’s Bergdorf Goodman, nearly three months after their nuptials at her home in the Bahamas. According to In Touch magazine, the 40-item wish list includes a 19th-century Moser vase, a Buccellati sterling silver picture frame and 24 Christofle Aria place settings, which sell for more than $2,100 each. The rumored U.S. wedding ceremony for friends and family is supposed to take place “later this summer,” according to In Touch.

Rumor has it that Kanye West may be dating Nick Cannon’s ex, Selita Ebanks. The two were spotted at Tenjune Saturday night looking very much like a couple. Witnesses say they tried to sneak out the back door after late night dining. They looked ‘cozy’ when they left, according to a spywitness outside. “They were trying to be inconspicuous, but they were smiling and walking real close, and they hopped in a waiting car together laughing and took off.” says an spywitness. I thought Ebanks was seeing NFL star Osi Umenyiora? Who knows these days!

It has been confirmed that Nick Cannon and his wife Mariah celebrated celebrated their wedding Tuesday night at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, Calif. Only 100 of their closest friends, family and business associates were invited, including Mariah’s manager, Benny Medina, Nick’s father, and his half-brother, Reuben.

Mariah also appeared on Ellen Degeneres earlier this week revealing details of her new marriage.

Mariah and Nick Cannon made their first public appearance as a married couple in New York last Thursday. The couple attended the party for Time’s magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World. They bypassed the red carpet press and headed straight inside the Lincoln Center where the event was taking place. Carey also performed rocking a beautiful silver minidress, according to E! Online. After her performance, she donned a strapless black dress accessorized with her 17-carat wedding ring before she and her husband hit hotspot The Waverly Inn. Mariah is scheduled to appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”. This will be her first interview as “Mrs. Nick Cannon”. The episode will air today!

Mr. and Mrs Carey were also spotted recently leaving a resturant in West Hollywood (see pic).

After that he started attending various events with her and a romance began. The rumors got hot when when Mariah attended the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her movie “Tennessee” sporting a huge diamond on her left ring finger.

Then all of a sudden we hear the 38-year-old singer and the 27-year-old actor were exchanging vows on April 30 at Carey’s Bahamian estate. So were Carey’s friends and family surprised?   

“Some were, but some weren’t,” she told People. “One thing (few people) knew was we got tattoos a few weeks earlier. So anyone who saw my (Mrs. Cannon) tattoo wasn’t surprised.”
Oprah Winfrey told her audience Wednesday that she saw the “Mrs. Cannon” tattoo when Carey appeared on her show about a week before the wedding, but thought nothing of it.
Cannon revealed, “To me rings are special and exciting, but tattoos mean more than anything. They’re forever and ever. They professed our love.”      

It is reported that a dozen guests attended their sunset wedding, where guests feasted on Maine lobster and Dom Perignon champagne. The bride wore a gown by Nile Cmylo that showed off her curves and faded from off-white to pale pink.      

“My pastor Clarence Keaton flew in from New York,” Carey said. “The whole wedding was really beautiful and sweet. Being there with loved ones under the sky … it was a spiritual moment.”      

Cannon talked about how he felt seeing Mariah walk down the isle: “I was elated, but I was thinking, ‘Don’t pass out.’ … (The pastor) said, ‘The eyes are the window to the soul,’ then gave us an entire minute to stare into each other’s eyes. So I was saying, ‘Don’t cry.’”      

 The newlyweds are already thinking about children. “It’s part of the whole purpose of getting married,” Carey said. “I’d just want our children to have the best childhood and upbringing they possibly could.”

Roger Friedman a Fox411 columnist has confirmed (as if we need further confirmation) that  Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were married last week, and that the couple has a “very nice prenuptial agreement.”  “As for the wedding, I know this much,” writes Freidman. “Mariah’s cousin, Shawn McDonald, walked her down the aisle. And the Bahamas ceremony will not be the only one.  “When Mariah and Nick return from their honeymoon, expect a big party and maybe even a second ceremony, something not so secret, for all the singer’s New York pals.”

Earlier this week we reported that Nick Cannon proposed to Mariah after she was seen wearing this fabolous HUGE rock…Well, they are not only engaged, but they got MARRIED! Family member Linda Cannon has confirmed to E! News that the couple are, in fact, married.  “Yes, we know,” she says. “He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him.” Cannon’s family would not confirm the reports that they nuptials happened yesterday at Carey’s new home in the Bahamas. “I’m not going to give you any details, but we are happy for him.” A rep from Jacob & Co. confirmed that Cannon spent close to $2.5 million on the 17 carat ring that was recently spotted on Carey’s left hand! If this is true, this would be Carey’s second marriage. Cannon was previously engaged to model Selita Ebanks, but they broke up shortly after.

Is Mariah Engaged? Well she was spotted rocking a HUGE diamond ring (see ring below) at the Tribeca Film Festival this weekend and holding hands with Nick Cannon at the after party in Tenjune…the question is, did he propose to her? Cannon is known for his quick engagements…LOL. Her reps won’t say who the ring came from.

An onlooker said: ‘Mariah and Nick looked really cosy. They were cuddling and made sure they held hands all night. Mariah looked really proud to there with Nick, and he seemed to be having a great time.’ However, Nick – who, at 27, is 12 years younger than Mariah – refused to comment on any possible engagement, and would only say the 38-year-old singer is ‘a great person’.

He added to MTV: ‘I can’t even know what to say. She’s probably the most festive, remarkable person I’ve ever met. She is a good friend.
