O.J. Simpson actually has people who really support him. Who would thought? LOL! A new website created by The Society Against Legal Injustice is requesting people to donate money toward funding an appeal for O.J. because they believe the case was mishandled. The group says there were numerous errors in the case including the contention that Simpson was targeted because of his controversial acquittal in the killings of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her companion Ronald Goldman in 1995. CNN reports that Former football great O.J. Simpson was sentenced today to at least 15 years in prison for his role in a confrontation in a Las Vegas hotel in 2007. Simpson told the judge before the sentence was read that did not mean to hurt anyone and did not know he was doing anything illegal. “I didn’t mean to steal anything from anybody.” CNN REPORT – Do you think he got what he deserved?
William Balfour, who was charged with the Hudson family murders, says he is innocent. His attorney claims that the state’s case against him is of of no substance. “The delay between the crimes and his actual arrest show weaknesses in the case,” attorney Joshua Kutnick tells People.com. “This case is not a strong case against William. He is a convenient suspect.” Balfour who was once married to Jennifer Hudson’s sister Julia, was arrested Monday. During a press conference Tuesday, the State’s Attorney and police said they have physical evidence tying Balfour to the scene and are “confident” about their case, which some unnamed sources have claimed is “mainly circumstantial.”
The AP Reports that O.J. Simpson, who went from American sports idol to celebrity-in-exile after he was acquitted of murder in 1995, was found guilty Friday of robbing two sports-memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a Las Vegas hotel room. It only took the jury one day to reach its verdict, reports CBS News correspondent Manuel Gallegus. Simpson released a heavy sigh as the charges were read by the clerk in Clark County District Court. LMAO! Okay a lil humor this Friday Morning. So NY Daily News reported that OJ Simpson got punched the heck out by his daughter Arnelle Simpson during an altercation over OJ’s 32 year old girlfriend, Christie Prody.
“Arnelle had a fight with Christie over Christie’s behavior,” a sources revealed to the newspaper. “That’s what started the whole thing. Christie has some problems with drinking, and Arnelle got mad. O.J. said ‘Don’t talk to her like that,’ and Arnelle pushed him.” (more…)
Mike Gilbert, a memorabilia dealer wrote a book that claims that OJ Simpson confessed to killing his ex-wife Nicole Brown and her friend Ronald Goldman in 1994. The book entitled “How I Helped O.J. Get Away With Murder: The Shocking Inside Story of Violence, Loyalty, Regret and Remorse,” hit bookshelves yesterday. The author reveals that O.J. had smoked weed, took a sleeping pill and was drinking beer when Simpson told him he didn’t bring a knife to his ex-wife’s condo on the night in question — and that, “If she hadn’t opened that door with a knife in her hand … she’d still be alive.” WOW! This is classic…Fred Goldman’s attorneys sued to get O.J. Simpson’s Rolex watch. They were successful at court, but after OJ Simpson turned in his Rolex watch, it was automatically returned after they found it to be a cheap imitation. LOL. According to TMZ.com, the Goldmans thought it was worth as much as $22,000 and intended to sell it with money going toward a largely unpaid $33.5 million wrongful death settlement. (more…)

An apparent audiotape of O.J. Simpson’s standoff with men he accused of stealing his memorabilia begins with the ex-NFL star demanding, “Don’t let nobody out of here.” “Think you can steal my s— and sell it?,” the voice identified as Simpson’s said. Simpson was arrested Sunday and booked on charges connected with what police described as a robbery at a Las Vegas hotel. In the audiotape released Monday by the celebrity news Web site TMZ.com, a man believed to be Simpson is heard shouting questions while other men yell orders to the people in the room.
The recording was made by Thomas Riccio, co-owner of the auction house Universal Rarities, according to TMZ. Simpson has said Riccio called him several weeks ago to tell him collectors were selling some of his items. Riccio did not immediately return a call for comment Monday, but he told TMZ he believed Simpson was planning to confront Alfred Beardsley, who was allegedly planning to auction off the memorabilia.
