Rappers Common and Q-Tip are joining forces to form a group called The Standard, the former A Tribe Called Quest frontman revealed in an interview recently. “It was more of his suggestion,” Tip explained to XXLMag.com. “He was like, ‘We just need to do a record.’ So I’m really excited about that.”  The project will be under  Universal Records and the specifics are still being sorted out.
