It has been reported that R. Kelly is being sued by a private investigator who claims he was never compensated for work done as part of his child pornography case. Freeman said he did the job, but never got his agreed sum of $300,000. He’s suing for damages plus interests and costs.

Its over for R.Kelly. The divorce between Kellz and his estranged wife Andrea has been finalized. Their 11 year marriage is officially over! The couple who has three kids together, decided to seperate in 2005 after Andrea filed an emergency restraining order against Kelly. In her statement she had said that Kelly physically abused, harrassed and stalked her. The details of the finacial statement was not XPOSED, but we do know they will share joint custody of their children. The official statement released says:

“The parties have reached an amicable resolution concerning all issues related to their marriage, and will share joint custody of their three children.” “The details of this agreement will remain confidential and the family requests that their privacy be respected during this time.”

As you may recall, Kelly was acquitted of child pornography charges last June after a trial in Chicago.

R.Kelly’s former bodyguard Grime Reaper Q is planning on coming out with a “Tell All” documentary entitled ‘The World’s Most Dangerous Bodyguard.’ Grime is known for taking a bullet for Kelly along with his reputation for his “hardcore” business tactics and reportedly confronting former label head Marion “Suge” Knight. In the documentary, he chronicles his transition from a bouncer to a trained killer.

The documentary is suppose to chronicle his life from a bouncer to a trained killer. Ummm…wierdo!

Grime said his life changed after getting stabbed. “When I got stabbed, it turned me into a person who said, ‘I’m never [going to] let anybody hurt me again,” he says in the films trailer. He also claims to have killed eight or nine men.

In the film Grime is said to go into great detail about his career and as well as industry stories about protecting some of music’s most well known stars such as DMX. “An incident happened where DMX got rushed and basically [his security] didn’t handle the situation right, they didn’t get him out of harm’s way”. He also claims he killed eight or nine men…WTF?

We all knew that somebody was going to come out with a rebuttal to Beyonce’s IF I WERE A BOY! Guess who did it, R. Kelly baby! R. Kelly issued a remix to Beyonce’s hit Monday, which is currently topping the UK Charts. Singing “You’re not a boy, so you don’t understand,” Kelly puts his stamp on the Toby Gad produced single. “So I go to the club with the guys and sometimes flirt with the girls.” “I should be able to roll out as long as I’m coming home to you,” Kelly continues attempting to cover a man’s perspective. While Kelly sings about being a guy who says “I am not a perfect man” for the majority of the song, he does take aim at being a girl for a brief moment. “If I were a girl. Today, a Los Angeles judge ordered a Georgia based promoter to pay $3.4 million in damages to R. Kelly for failing to compensate the singer for his 2007 ‘Double Up’ tour. As previously reported a couple of months ago, Kelly filed a lawsuit against Leonard Rowe earlier this year. “I agreed to let Leonard Rowe promote my tour because he convinced mehe was an underdog who deserved a chance to prove himself,” Kelly said via a statement. “Like the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished.”

Rowe now faces lawsuits from the duped investors.  Last month, Rowe was ordered to pay over $700,000 to R&B singer Ne-Yo for breaching a contract related to the ‘Double Up’ tour.

It’s been three months since a Chicago jury acquitted the star of filming a sex video with an underage girl. Kelly claims that the accusations had come from disgruntled former employees.

R Kelly said “It’s time for me to move on. I can’t keep answering these questions.If you were charged with something and found innocent, then you can’t be found guilty for being found innocent”.

WOW! Check this out…Earlier this year we posted that Ne-Yo was suing R. Kelly promoters for dropping him off the R. Kelly tour after just two shows. Ne-Yo was dropped from the tour because he had upstaged R. Kelly (allegedly). Well, Ne-Yo did end up suing the tour’s promoter, Rowe Entertainment, and the company failed to answer the lawsuit that was served to them. Thus, a L.A. Superior Court ordered Rowe Entertainment to pay Ne-Yo (aka Shaffer Smith) and his touring agent $700,320.00. Reps for Rowe had no comment upon press release.

R. Kelly is being investigated over his alleged involvement in a tour scam. The R&B singer has been accused of earning $130,000 from a tour in South Africa despite failing to perform, according to reports. Buddy didn’t even show up, but he got paid….Local woman Busiswe Zakwe has been arrested for allegedly swindling thousands from investors by promising them they would benefit from ticket sales if they brought an R Kelly tour to the country in 2005. Zakwe claims she deposited the money into Kelly’s account, but he never appeared in the country. Document indicate that Zakwe indeed sent monies out to R. Kelly, but not police are questioning the whereabouts of the cash. Dang Kellz!

This time he isn’t in trouble yall! LOL. R. Kelly is suing two Los Angeles club promoters for using his name and image to promote an event without his permission. Kelly says this constitutes “false advertising” because he knew nothing about the party. Kelly isn’t seeking a set amount but it will be a minimum of $25,000 dollars and wants an amount that will “stop defendants’ … disgorgement of ill-gotten gains.”

WOW! So R&B singer Joe revealed some juicy scoop on his situation at Jive Records and his label mate R. Kelly. Joe has been with Jive for the past 11 years but never was as successful as he should have been even after six album. He recently decided to branch off and go the independent route as most artist do if they don’t make it “big” under an established label.

Joe said after he left Jive, he found out why he never really progressed while signed to the label that launched the success of Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, his label mate R. Kelly & much more. The reason he says…R. Kelly himself! Joe tells EUR’s Lee Baily in an x-clusive interview that R. Kelly put pressure on Jive executives and radio stations to fall back on promoting Joe’s records especially when his single’s got to much attention.

“R. Kelly was very instrumental in making a lot of decisions when it came to my records being played on the radio,” Joe revealed. “He would make a call to the radio station or to the label and say, ‘Hey, this Joe record is too hot right now. Yall need to pull that back.’ And they would oblige.”       

“It’s incredible that now I get the opportunity to, I don’t know, maybe pay [R. Kelly] back in some sort of side bar kind of thing.” Joe says that he feel so much better now that he can actually reveal the shady behavior that went down at Jive.      

Even though Joe didn’t reach his maximum potential in the “game”, R. Kelly didn’t actually sabotage his career which includes seven Grammy Award nominations, three gold albums and two platinum discs.      

“I’m still very relevant in the game. But yeah, he did try to make some decisions when it came down to my records being on fire, and climbing up the charts and on the radio stations,” Joe said of Kelly. “He felt like they should pull back because he felt he was more important. And with their loyalty to him, they obliged.”      

Joe will be releasing his upcoming album, “New Man,” on Sept 22 – via Kedar Entertainment Group – headed by his manager and former Motown president Kedar Massenburg, with Joe and Chico Debarge as full partners. Distribution will be handled by Universal Music Group’s Fontana Distribution.

Rumor has it that R. Kelly is dating Jo Jo Simmons ex-girlfriend. The chick’s name is “Baby” and we hear she is only 19 years old. I guess R. Kelly can’t get enough of the youngins’…I have yet to confirm this news, so as previously stated its a “rumor”!!!

However, in related news, songs from R. Kelly’s upcoming LP “12 Play 4th Quarter” were leaked on the internet yesterday. He sure came out with some suggestive songs for being recently acquitted of child pornography charges. I guess he can’t change what he is best known for….

Both MTV and Billboard mentioned the amount of sexual content in the leaked material – which includes the tracks “Screamer,” “At the Same Time,” “Two Seater” and “Son of a B*tch.”

His first single “Hair Braider” didn’t do to well on the Billboard charts. His second single is said to be “Skin” and the official video will be shot this weekend.

Sparkle, the R&B singer who worked with R. Kelly back in the day, went on the ‘LIVE with Kendra G. and DJ Touchtone’ show on 100.3 THE BEAT in Philly and spoke about how she felt about the R. Kelly trial and the verditct.

Sparkle, who testified for the prosecution during the child pornography case. She told Kendra G. and DJ Touchtone that she was surprised about the verdict, but didn’t want to see R. Kelly go to jail, rather she thought he needed some type of psychological help.

Sparkle said that her niece, who was allegedly on the sex tape, will not speak to her, and neither will her parents.

When asked did she think the family was paid off to be silent, Sparkle claims, “that’s what people are speculating but it is what it is.”

Sparkle concluded saying that she was okay with the verdict and that only GOD can be the judge and she is focusing on trying to repair the scars that have been left on her family.

Recently unsealed documents state that one of R. Kelly’s associates was plotting to kill the State’s star witness, Lisa Van Allen.

Lisa Van Allen, the woman who claimed she had three-way sex with Kelly and the alleged victim in the case, revealed in pretrial docs that an “employee” of R. Kelly said she should’ve been killed for revealing any information on the singer. No charges were ever filed, and Kelly was acquitted last week of all the child-porn charges.

Van Allen, who was on Hot 105 doing and “Xclusive” interview,  also revealed that she was paid $100K for a tape with her and another allegedly underage girl (not the victim) by an associate of R. Kelly.

You’ll find this interesting. 12 jurors who were involved in the R. Kelly child porn trial said that they were all in agreement that it was R. Kelly on that sex tape, but they could not find him guilty because there was not enough evidence to prosecute him and there was “reasonable doubt”.

TMZ says that five of the jurors actually spoke to reporters after the acquittal and said there were unable to reach a verdict because the victim refuse to cooperate and testify.

Jurors said they  were “absolutely disgusted” by the tape, which was played in its entirety twice in court by prosecutors, and was presented in footage that was “clear as day”,  unlike the bootleg version most people saw on the internet.

As you know, Kelly was charged with 14 counts of videotaping himself having sex with an underage girl, who prosecutors say was as young as 13. If convicted, he faces a minimum of four years in prison and a maximum of 15 years. He would also have to register as a sex offender in Illinois.

The jury – nine men and three women – was given the case Thursday. The key question for the jurors was whether they believe it was Kelly in the video, as prosecutors contend. Defense said it was not Kelly.

R. Kelly revealed to the judge in his “child pornography” trial that he does not plan on testifying. Yesterday, after Judge Vincent Gaughan told Kelly he had a right to not testify, the R&B singer leaned forward at the defense table with his hands folded and – speaking for the first time at the trial – responded: “I decided not to testify.” The jury was not in the courtroom. Both Kelly and the alleged victim have denied being the people on the alleged videotape.

The trial is close to concluse commencing today with closing arguments beginning at 10 a.m. The Chicago Tribue put together an outline as to what to expect during the “closing” agruments (see below):

Prosecution

•The tape: Two video experts testified it would take decades to fabricate the sex tape at the heart of the child pornography tape. One analyst also broke down a portion of the video to show jurors that the video’s male participant has a mole on his back—just like Kelly.

•The friends: The alleged victim denies any involvement with the sex tape, but three former junior high friends readily identified her for the jury. The young women were adamant and unshakable on the witness stand.

•The photos: At one point during the trial, the prosecution put up side-by-side pictures of the alleged victim and the female from the sex tape. Though some relatives denied a resemblance, the subjects in the photograph looked very similar.

Defense

•The victim: The alleged victim, now 23, did not testify during the trial and denied her involvement in the sex tape before a 2002 grand jury. The trial jury already knows this, but you can bet they’ll be reminded again.

•The tape: Kelly’s attorneys may move away from the mole defense, given recent revelations that their video expert used a lower-grade tape to demonstrate that the male participant had an unblemished back. However, jurors still may have doubts about the video because of its poor quality and unknown origins.

•Lisa Van Allen: Van Allen is the only witness to testify to first-hand knowledge of a sexual relationship between Kelly and his alleged victim. As such, the singer’s attorneys dedicated much of their efforts to trying to undermine her. They’ll paint her as a thieving blackmailer who only stepped forward to spare her fiancé from gun and drug charges. If the jury believes this, it could mean trouble for the prosecution.

Testimony officially ended in the R. Kelly trial this afternoon as the judge ordered jurors to report back Thursday for closing arguments.

The jury was dismissed without any mention of a faulty stipulation regarding the accuracy of a DVD shown in court.

The prosecution learned Monday night that images from the sex tape at the center of the child pornography trial were compressed and lost significant detail when they were transferred to the DVD, Assistant State’s Atty. Shauna Boliker said. The prosecutors blamed the error on “dumb lawyers” who simply wanted the DVD to more easily show shortened clips from the original video. The state swore to its veracity in a stipulation, a statement read to jurors in which both sides of the case agree on an item.

The situation was further complicated by the fact that the defense already presented testimony based on the supposed accuracy of both the DVD and the stipulation.

Cook County Judge Vincent Gaughan called the stipulation “a rotten tomato in the barrel” and took an hourlong recess to consider the matter. After reviewing the transcripts, the judge said it was clear the defense had access to an uncompressed, unaltered copy of tape, in addition to the disc.

Gaughan asked the prosecution and defense to work together to resolve the matter. The two sides huddled for nearly an hour before returning to court and telling the judge they intended to put their agreement in writing.

Details of the resolution were not announced in open court.

Defense attorneys rested their case after two days of testimony in the R. Kelly trial.

R. Kelly’s attorney, Ed Genson, wrapped things up early Monday without calling any witnesses to the stand. Jurors were sent home that day.

Today, prosecutors plan to call two rebuttal witnesses. According to the Chicago Tribune, one is Grant Frederics, a forensic video analyst who found what appeared to be a mole on the back of the man in the sex tape.       

The defense told jurors in opening statements that Kelly has had a mole on his back since childhood and that since there was no mole on the back of the male participant in the video, Kelly could not be the man on the tape. Frederics is expected to rebut testimony from the defense’s forensic expert, Dr. Charles Palm, who said in his examination of the videotape that he could not find a mole.       

The prosecution also plans to call Robert Wolf, an assistant district attorney from Atlanta who is expected to deny suggestions that Lisa Van Allen, who testified she had a three-way sexual encounter with Kelly and the alleged underage victim, was given a deal to testify in the Kelly case.

Cook County Circuit Judge Vincent Gaughan told jurors closing arguments are likely to begin on Thursday.

According to the Chicago Times, 3 relatives of the girl who allegedly appears in a sex videotape with R&B superstar R. Kelly took the stand Wednesday — and each said the girl on the tape is not their family member.

Shonna Edwards, 27, said she was formerly in a singing group with her cousin, who prosecutors allege is the underage girl in the tape. The group toured throughout Europe in the late 1990s, she said.

“Was the female in the [sex] tape your cousin?” asked defense lawyer Ed Genson.

“No, she definitely wasn’t her,” Edwards said.

Prosecutors showed each of the three defense witnesses — Shonna Edwards, Charlotte Edwards and Leroy Edwards — a photo of the alleged victim next to a frame from the sex video. The side-by-side pictures were projected on a large screen.

Prosecutors asked them if it was “possible” the photos were of the same girl. Each witness said no.

Cross-examining Leroy Edwards, the alleged victim’s uncle, prosecutor Robert Heilingoetter sounded incredulous.

“And it’s your testimony that you don’t recognize this girl?” he asked.

“No, I don’t,” Leroy Edwards responded.

Shonna Edwards admitted her singing group thanked R. Kelly in the acknowledgments on its CD. Shonna’s father Leroy, who managed the group, testified Kelly provided “encouraging words and some motivation” for the group.

Asked if she thought the man on the tape was Kelly, Shonna Edwards said, “that does not appear to be him.”

The testimony from the relatives — including Charlotte Edwards, the girl’s aunt — stands in sharp contrast to that of other relatives who testified that the girl in the tape is their family member, now 23.

It is not clear yet whether the girl herself will testify for the defense, though she told a grand jury she’s not on the tape.
