According to Billboard, R.Kelly is planning to release his next album entitled “12 Play: Fourth Quarter” by this summer. (thus the very awkward promo pictures of his gold braids) The first single will be “Hair Braider” (listen below)…which has already been released and is No. 59 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop charts. The judge in R. Kelly’s child pornography case has allowed prosecutors to add two people to their list of witnesses in advance of the May 9 trial, reports the Chicago Tribune.The Chicago Tribune reports, two new state witnesses are expected to bolster the prosecution’s case by corroborating claims about the identity of the girl who was allegedly videotaped having sex with the R&B singer. With the trial set for May 9th, Cook County Circuit Judge Vincent Gaughan has agreed to the addition of the two new witnesses. (more…)

Maxine Daniels, daughter of Regina & George Daniels, who R.Kelly is accused of sleeping with has released a statement to the Chicago Sun-Times columnist Stella Foster. Daniels gave this interview in attempt to clear the air of her sexual relationship with R.Kelly. As previously reported, Regina Daniels resigned as R.Kelly’s publicist a couple of months ago due to her finding out that R.Kelly was sleeping with her daughter (Maxine). Here is what Maxine (pictured above with R.Kelly) had to say:

Former R. Kelly associate George Daniels confirmed that he and his publicist wife severed ties with R.Kelly after the forty-one year old R&B superstar was caught have a sexual relationship with the couple’s college-aged daugter, Maxine. 

As previously posted, Publicist, Regina Daniels released a statement in November announcing she had quit her position with her long-time client/friend, R.Kelly. She never gave details as to why she quit, but only mentioned that a “line had been crossed”.

In an interview with Los Angeles radio station KJLH, her husband, well known, George Daniels said:

“He crossed the line with my daughter. It didn’t get to the extreme of that [sex tape] video or else I wouldn’t be here, if you know what I’m talking about.” (more…)

Rumor has it that R. Kelly is dating convicted shoplifter and American Idol Season 2 finalist, Trenyce Cobbins. Sources tell us that Kellz supposedly fell for the twenty-seven year old singer after meeting her last April through a mutal friend. “He was drawn to her immediately,” an R. insider reveals to Star Magazine. “He loves someone both beautiful and talented, and Trenyce is definitely that.” The rumored couple were spotted getting “very affectionate” at a Los Angeles-area Roscoe’s Chicken n’ Waffles on December 14th. Hmmmm!

We reported yesterday that Ne-Yo filed suit against R. Kelly for firing him from the Double Up Tour without cause. After that news broke R. Kelly, fired back via his spokesperson. Ne-Yo stated he was fired from the Double Up tour without just cause by Kelly which is very similiar to the legal battle between Jay-Z and R. Kelly back in 2004. The singer also claims that he is owed $785,000 for performing on the outing with Kelly and fellow featured artists Keyshia Cole and J. Holiday. (more…)

R. Kelly was hit with a lawsuit last week claiming that he fired superstar singer Ne-Yo without just cause, owing him a six-figure payment.  According to Ne-Yo, R. Kelly fired him after two shows because he upstaged Kelly during the “Double Up Tour,” which kicked off in November.  (more…)
